I love this almond milk! It has three ingredients, all organic. Your order comes with six (6) cartons and they are shelf-stable until opened, then it goes in the fridge. The flavor is great and it has good flavor. I love using thia almond milk in protein drinks, smoothies, cereal and in coffee. Anyone who knows how to make almond milk knows perfectly well that "milk separation" is not a problem and that it is 100% NORMAL because it is NATURAL.. It means that the milk does not have any strange EMULSIFIERS or preservatives.-. Your problem about "milk separation" can be solve if you "SHAKE IT" (just like it says on the package) I'm not going to deny that it is expensive... but it is very difficult for me to consume normal "milk", I am trying to be far away of this... So I always try to find coconut milk or almond milk. This is the first ALMOND milk (apart from the one I make at home) that I consume and IT DOESN'T MAKES ME FEEL BLOWED OR uncomfortable.. Other brands are full of preservatives, emulsifiers and other bad things... Those Almonds milks make me feel super bad with myself.. ONE of the reasons (there are several) why I don't drink "regular" milk is because I try to stay away from the fake calcium fortification they put in it. And when you try to find almond milk with another brands you find that they are also adding calcium and the same as regular milk... Updated: I've been reordering this now for some time and I haven't run into the issues I had in the past. Rather, I now see more bits of almond in my milk. Like it's less strained than it used to be. Still an amazing brand and outstanding outreach and customer service. Original Review: Summary, 1 of the 6 boxes was so watery it was clear, if they were consistent I would be all over this product, amazing taste, and color when they deliver 😋 I live in a small town, so I don't have access to healthy alternatives to the American standards of food production. I try to avoid all additional preservatives, and sugars. I was so excited when I found a shelf stable almond milk with only 3 ingredients! I ordered right away! Let me tell you, they definitely didn't disappoint at first. Smooth and strong in color. It was short lived. The last box was just water, extremely separated. I ended up throwing it out. I don't usually drink almond milk because almonds use so much water to grow. Unfortunately, I was having a hypercalcemic episode (a quiet disability I have), and had to have something to replace my Orgain Nutritious drinks I mix with my Orgain meal replacement powder (subscribe and save: Orgain strawberry Nutrtious Drink and Orgain vanilla powder, all organic), and remove all calcium and d until I could bring the episode unnder control...yum for a meal replacement when I can drink it---one can choose smooth choclate drink and chocolate or vanilla powder, or mix and match for a very healthy meal replacement) Spendy? Yes. Worth it? Yes! When I found this product, I rejoiced. Clean pure organic almond milk with FILTERED WATER. I am assuming the company removed the PFAS, heavy metals, microplastics and other toxins found in regular drinking and bottled water. I added my chocolate ORGANIC stevia (all extracts, spices, teas, are concentrated pesticides if not organic) and organic coffee extract, a little organic vanilla, and I had Almond Java, which is delicious cold or warm. Simply adding organic monk's fruit sweetner and oganic vanilla was almost as good. I imagine one could experiment with organic flavorings. drinking as is was a little bland for me, but at least I felt safe with the product. When a product does not say filtered water, I do not buy it, becasuse we don't know where the water came from or what contaminents might be in the water. So 10 stars for an excellent and safe product.! I would give it more stars if I coud. This is the heathiest almond milk I have found, and believe me, I examined the ingredients in many brands. When they say vanilla, it is really synthetic "vanillin" made in a lab. Several lawsuits have not been able to get "truth in labeling" regarding vanillin...yet. Read more
