Excellent product! Two pieces of advice for purchasers: 1) As pointed out in other reviews, read the directions on how to turn the screws to tighten the arms. The direction seems counter intuitive, and you must turn more than expected, but the adjustment system does work. 2) The cable management covers on the bottom arms can be challenging. The directions imply that, similar to the top arms, the plastic needs to be pressed then slid off. This is NOT the case with the bottom covers. On my product, the lower coverings would not budge, no matter how I pressed, pulled or slid. Ultimately, though, the solution was leverage. No pressing was needed. Instead, take a thick screwdriver, and place it in the gap of the covering on the "base" end. Anchor the head of the screwdriver at an angle inside the latticework within the arm, and leverage the screwdriver towards the other end. For me, it took some effort as I didn't want to break the plastic, but the covering eventually slid/popped off. The cables could then be placed in the correct position, and the covering slid back on to hide them accordingly. Other than that challenge, installation was a breeze, and actually quite enjoyable! I had previously purchased another dual monitor stand, but the arms are fixed and you can't adjust them other and up/down for both monitors without adjusting them together. That was an issue for me because I own 2 monitors that are not the same. The brackets on the back made them vertically offset and it just didn't look right. Although I had that stand for a while, I came to a point where the stand had to be replaced. I spend a fair amount of time gaming and having my monitors at the same eye level is almost a must. It is just an annoyance that I don't want or need. After buying this monitor stand that issue was taken care of immediately after setup. I would also say that it probably took about the same amount of time to install both of thoe stands. However, this one is far superior. I use two 27" monitors and they fit perfectly fine side-by-side. Honestly, I probably wouldn't go any larger that that for this stand. The weight of my monitors with this stand is a non issue for me. I dont know what they weigh, but not enough for it to be a problem even in the slightest. The gas struts have be adjusted a little when first setting up, but once that is done they are pretty much good to go. I don't find them shifting around much/often. Which is something I was kind of concerned with happening. The price was right, the shipping was fast and this product is a perfect addition to my "PC gaming setup". Just another piece of the puzzle that I don't have to worry about anymore. 10/10 would recommend and I honestly don't really have anything negative to say about this product. This arm set works great, but I feel they lack in max height. The way I sit I need them to go up about 2 inchs more. I can get 1 monitor to get that, but not both. There are easy workarounds to get that that I am using, but it is my only complaint. Assembly is very easy. The only problem I had with it was the fault of my monitors having bad port locations for the cable management to work as intended. This setup would have worked great with my old monitors though. The arms hold the monitors with ease and it is easy to add or remove tension so they can be adjusted to your likings. I especially love the fact that they give you all kinds of mounting options for all the desk types. All of them feel like they are a good quality. The only parts I feel arent are the plastic paces, but plastic always feels cheap to me. So if your looking for a good stand for 2 monitors I would say these are well worth the prices. Read more
