Mr Coffee 4-in-1 Latte Lux Iced Hot Coffee Maker with Built-In Milk Frother Single-Serve 22 Ounces

Got this as a gift for my gf. It honestly works great and makes amazing drinks. Saves her so much money on Starbucks. Sadly the coffee ground basket handle arrived broken in the box. Took a while for them to send us a replacement and that handle actually broke too. The little snaps on the sides that hold it in the basket seem cheap. My ONLY 2 real complaints are, the milk frother doesn't always seem to work that well. Sometimes we get all/mostly foam, but other times, we get hot milk with just a little foam. Not sure what the issue is. And secondly, if youre making a second cup of coffee after the first and the burner is still hot inside the machine and you go to add more water, it shoots your coffee grounds all over the place 😂 i get that its avoidable, and your own fault but when you're tired you can be forgetful and it makes a heck of a mess. Its barely a complaint but those are my only real things about the machine we dont like. Other than that, she uses it daily and its great. Its straight forward to use. I have had mine for a year and a half and use it daily. It has held up well and has saved me a ton of money. I use it mostly for hot lattes, but I have also used it for iced coffee drinks and cold foam. I have even used it to brew tea. I appreciate smart engineering that adheres to minimalist standards and gives the greatest utility at the lowest cost with the least components. This coffee maker is easy to use, expertly simplified. The coffee maker side is like a classic drip machine with a reusable filter which means NO MORE PODS and no disgusting dirty water reservoir powered by electric pumps. Basically, the machine moves the water by boiling it through, which means the inside of the machine gets disinfected every time it is run. This also means you can get stronger and more flavorful coffee. The milk frother side provides a hefty stainless steel cup with a magnetic attachment inside that attaches to a magnetic clutch on the machine while simultaneously sitting on a hot plate which makes it super easy to make hot froth or cold foam with zero guesswork. Unlike some other milk frothers, the removable cup has no electronic components and can be fully washed. The frother does amazing hot froth or cold foam. I was particularly impressed with how 1% milk turns into luxurious cold foam, perfect for cold drinks. Now I can skip the creamer. The included scoop makes it super easy to get a single serve hot cup of coffee at any quantity, or a much larger iced cup of coffee, or even a huge 16 oz travel mug of hot coffee. If I remove the bottom drip tray, I can fit my massive 32oz tumbler inside for a huge iced coffee. These Mr. Coffee single serve machines are perhaps one of the most versatile coffee makers in terms of brewing quantity and versatility. Pleasantly surprised with this affordable little coffee maker. Just had my first latte using Illy coffee and vanilla soy milk for the frother. Machine is so easy to use, is very quiet and turns itself off. The latte was very good. Minor downsides for me is that the electrical cord is WAY too short, you need to use a tall coffee mug to prevent splatters and the coffee could be a little hotter. This machine will pay for itself in no time, no more $7 lattes at Starbucks and no need for nonrecyclable coffee PODS. Read more

After 10 years, my super expensive (over a grand) fancy espresso machine finally died forever. My travel and backup system for years was the Dolce Gusto machine with their pods - but those are apparently, being discontinued and the machines were finicky and tended to leak. So I went hunting for a coffee solution that was pod free and thought I would just get another Italian espresso machine until I saw the current pricing structures and noped out. Initially, I watched a ton of review videos on everything out there and stumbled onto this machine by accident. I bought it thinking it would serve in the short term til I found what I really wanted. Turns out, THIS SIMPLE machine is exactly what I wanted! It is dead simple to use - put your favorite ground coffee in the reusable basket filter (NO PODS!), pour in the amount of water you want, press the hot brew button, walk away. Want hot real milk and foam? Put the whole milk in the frother, press hot cap or hot latte (deoe6on size) and walk away. An iced vanilla latte is the best thing ever with minimal effort. Cold foam button on the milk, iced brew button on the brewer and it does both perfectly. Fill your included iced latte glass with ice and flavored syrup, coffees brews into the cup and then you pour the frothed milk over all of it, screw on the lid and go. You can also use your own tumbler if it fits. 2 weeks of multiple daily use and both my husband and I are loving this machine - I'm buying a second one for my barn office now. Read more
