This mug warmer works well. I use it every morning and keeps my coffee at a good drinkable temperature while I read the news and do my morning routine. The bottom of the mug does get a bit hot, so be careful, but other than that no complaints. The cable is sufficiently long to place the warmer on your desk or table. I really enjoy this warmer and recommend it. Read more

This is the second time I have purchase this Coffee Mug Warmer. I actually gave my old one away to someone else who really needed it for the day. I told them to keep it and I purchased myself this one again. This thing last forward and can handle the accidental spills. It's easy to wipe down and durable. I have purchased others, newer, cuter versions of a mug warmer and I have gone back to this one due to it's durability. Function is simple, just an one and off switch. Keep my beverage hot all day and the size is perfect for a desk. Read more

OVERVIEW: This does what it is supposed to do. It is not fancy; it is a basic warmer. But it does the trick. For this price point, it is excellent! My office is usually cool, so my coffee and/or tea would never stay warm. This warmer does the trick. I haven't had a cup of room temp coffee or tea since! Love it. CUP TYPE: I do use this with a basic 14 oz. ceramic cup with the "lip" around the bottom. Many have stated that you need a flat-bottomed cup or a metal (like a Yeti) cup, but you don't. I tried a Yeti-type cup once and the entire cup was so hot that I couldn't touch it. Not recommended! START WITH HOT: Please note that this product is designed to keep your beverage warm, not to actually warm it up. You can't start with a cold or room temp beverage and expect it to heat it up. That is not what this one is for. But, if you start with a hot beverage, it will remain hot on this warmer. TEMPERATURE: This product has no heat settings. It is either on or off. But again, for this price point, that's what you get. The plastic housing is slightly warm to the touch, but nothing to worry about. But don't touch the heating plate. It is very hot! APPEARANCE: The heating surface, as many others have mentioned, gets scratched easily by the ceramic cup bottom. As you can see in the photo, mine got scratched also. However, since I have a black cup sitting on it all the time, you really can't see that it is scratched. It doesn't bother me at all. SUMMARY: I do recommend this product if you are looking for something to keep your hot beverage hot. I would recommend unplugging it when you are not around. Others have noted them shorting out when unattended, even if turned off. Mine is plugged into a power strip/surge protector that gets turned off every day when I leave the office, so all of my electronics are completely off when I'm not there. UPDATE: I purchased this in January 2022. It is now September 2025, and it is still going strong! And the scratches in the photo from my original review look exactly like it looks today (but maybe a little dirtier. LOL) I came here today to purchase another one for a different location, but I'm uncertain that it's worth $21. I only paid $11 for it 3.5 years ago. I realize that inflation has been bad recently, but almost double?! I may need to look elsewhere. Read more

I was skeptical given the Black Friday price, but this thing delivers! Given as a gift, my sister pulled it out of the box, immediately plugged it in, and set her cold coffee cup on it. We actually forgot about it and when she came back her coffee was nice and warm. She was very pleased. This is very portable and she is very excited to use it in her home office and is already considering one for her "real" office. Small design won't take up much space on a desk and can use a regular coffee cup - which was an original concern of mine. Read more

It keeps your mug and its contents warm, but turn it on ahead of time because it takes a bit to warm itself up. It's Mr. Coffee, so I expected a little bit more in terms of quality. I have used it a few days and the paint on the hotplate is beginning to chip off. I used just ceramic mugs, so this is clearly a defect in manufacturing. Update: there is no auto-off function. I accidentally left it on overnight with no mug on it, and I returned to find it still on. Read more
