I found it to work well and the coffee tastes great. It holds enough water for 5 cups of coffee. Its very easy to use and has a auto shut off in 2 hours of brewing. No need to worry about leaving it and going out. It shuts down by it's self. Its programable so I can set it up to brew later. I found the value on the high side for a 5 cup brewer. Perfect for one person; it makes two-plus good-sized mugs, and keeps it warm for two hours. I haven’t timed it but I’ve never thought it took too long to brew. It does drip a little bit; I keep a towel on hand to mop up errant drops to keep the heat pad clean but it’s a small price to pay for the feature I love: a two-hour timer. I’m very happy with this purchase. UPDATE: It STOPPED WORKING after 11 months of use! Love the coffeepot, HATE that it just died. I see others are having the same problem. QUALITY CONTROL is obviously an issue. UPDATE: I made a warranty claim, and the company provided a brand new coffeepot, no charge. Final result: I LOVE this coffeemaker. It's the right size for one person. It keeps coffee hot for two hours, meaning I don't come back for a refill of already lukewarm coffee; it's always piping hot. Have had this Jan 2025. We love this coffee maker. Use it twice a day. Best coffee maker ever!! The 8 Oclock coffee brews perfect! The brew time is fast so my girl friend doesn't fall back asleep. The 6 oz cup is a perfect size, just enough room in your cup for creamer. Just like any other coffee maker, when you remove the pot coffee does drip from the filter, so what. I decided to toss my keurig and try this. So far this has been perfect, coffee comes out delicious. As I am the only coffee drinker it is a good size and doesn't take up too much counter space. I also like I can set a timer to turn on in the morning. Not noisey. Easy to set up and clean. Read more

Typical horrendous Mr. Coffee design. If you are left-handed, keep shopping, because this device was designed for exclusive use by right-handed people, just like all the other horrible Mr. Coffee machines I've used over the years. This thing is a fidgety mess of components that all have to fit together a certain way each time you brew coffee. The interior is all black, making it difficult to see anything unless you light up the room. And why does the basket have to be oriented a certain way? How many engineers does it take to complicate a simple concept this badly? I can only imagine the committee meetings they sat in for months on end, adding unnecessary bits here and there. Tweaking the design over and over again to make it more and more difficult for us lefties. Bravo! Well done. When you flip up the lid to pull out the basket to make another pot, you end up with condensation dripping all over the hot plate and down the side of the machine, so make sure you leave the pot on the plate when you open the lid. Must do things in Mr. Coffee's engineered order lest you make a mess. But it has a built-in timer! Oh, yes it does, and it also has a clock that relies on a steady 60 Hz AC timing source from a utility provider. If you're running this on an inverter in your RV, the clock will probably drift around, since most inverters cannot maintain perfect 60 Hz continuously without an external timing source and tend to slip below 60 Hz when under heavy loads. Over time this results in a clock that drifts several minutes. Mine loses about 20 minutes a day, making it completely worthless as a delayed start timer. This works. I had a fancy expensive pot for years that finally broke and this little thing makes one good cup and there are no bells or whistles but it works. I like that you can fill your cup and it stops dripping while you do that. Read more
