There’s a lot of good stuff going on here. However, a few misses keep this dress from being a five-star find. First, the pros. The fabric is substantial enough to lie flat and not wrinkle easily. No see-through here, at least not with the purple version. There is a fair amount of stretch to this fabric, so that it’s easy to bend, reach, and sit while wearing the dress. The back vent makes for easy walking. The length is just below the knee on me, (I’m 5’5”) a flattering length for most women. It lends a polished look to this dress, and makes it appropriate for church, business, etc. The invisible zipper works smoothly. Now, the cons. 1) None of the bust darts are positioned correctly. In the side view picture I attached, you can see how high the bust darts are. They are made possibly for small-busted women. I would have to have boobs up in my throat for the darts to fit properly! Unfortunately, I wear a 34DD. I’m wearing my highest support bra in the photo, and my girls still end well below the darts. 2) The back darts are super short, so that they end a couple of inches below my natural waist. This creates an area of excess fabric above the butt. Those can be easily extended, if you have access to a sewing machine. The bust darts, however, will be a lot more difficult. Fortunately, they are not as obvious. 3) The faux pockets and accompanying buttons inhibit the natural stretch of the fabric, so there is a tendency to pull at that point. In this case, I like the color enough to do some tailoring to fix those things I can, like the back darts, and will take a look at doing what is possible to get the bust darts a bit closer to a realistic fit. In the first picture, I paired it with a thin, black belt, and liked the effect. For reference, at 5’5” 118 pounds, the small size fits well, zips up without stretching. Read more

I'm 5'7", 150 pounds. I bought this dress for a professional photo shoot. I love the color (teal) and it looked great in the pictures. I usually wear a medium in dresses and that is what I ended up with because the large wouldn't have arrived in time. While it fit okay (because it has a lot of stretch and I wore shapewear), I think a large would have been a better fit. I recommend the dress, however I can't vouch for how well it will hold up after washing. You may want to dry clean it if you want to love it for a long time. Read more
