I'm returning this dress to size up , but I'll go ahead and write a review. The material is great- nice and thick and it's even a little stretchy. The dress is VERY form fitting, though. I ordered my normal size of medium the first time. It fit, but I didn't like the way it looked on ME. Sent it back and ordered a Large. Just tried that on and that also fit and fit well, but I still feel like I need to go one more size up. If that doesn't work, I'll just assume the dress isn't made for me and pick something else. It's really pretty and comfortable, though. If I can figure out how, I'll come back and do an update after I get the 3rd one. Read more

Two major problems with this dress that affected the low score. The first doesn’t require a lot of explanation, so I’ll start there. I tried this on as soon as it arrived, and because it did not fit, I immediately opened a return on the app. The very next morning, I took it to the UPS store I always use for my returns. I have returned many dresses that do not fit properly, and every, single time, within 2 -3 hours after bringing the return to UPS, Amazon has credited it to my account. That didn’t happen this time. In fact, it is now the third day, and my account still has not been credited. I could track it on the app, and it shows as “delivered” yesterday, So, know that if you order and it doesn’t fit, you may well end up waiting for your money back, like I am. Now, the reason for the return. To speak plainly, the fit was just awful. I have always bought size small on Amazon with dresses, but I sized up with this one, after reading the reviews. Although I’m 5’5” and 118 pounds, the number of reviews that said you need to size up because of how tight the cut is prompted me to order a medium. I have an hourglass shape with a 34DD bust, but as I’m no spring chicken anymore, I am super uncomfortable now days with dresses that are skin tight. So, I ordered up, thinking if it was slightly oversized, that would be OK, as I’m comfortable doing my own alterations. I have tweaked the fit on many clothes I have purchased here. Well, the bust fit fine, the hips were perfect, but the waist!! It was just so oversized that it made me look like a box. Although I am skilled with tailoring and alterations, this was beyond a fixable. It needed to have a good 6” taken in. The entire dart shaping was totally off, and unless I wanted to go through hours of deconstructing it pretty much completely, (and I did not) it was realistically unfixable. The waist is also extremely short, hitting maybe halfway between the girls and the waist, it made me look like a box. A very frumpy box. I tried adding a belt to salvage it, but …no. Now, I looked like a sack of potatoes tied in half. Equal opportunity hideous. Either way, not an attractive look. The fabric was all right, a synthetic similar to that of many Amazon dresses, and I loved touch of the white-lined front pleat with the buttons, but in the end, this dress did me no favors. So although I thought it would look great with my curves as most bodycon dresses do, and although I had expected to love it, clearly it was not for me. Now, just hoping to see the money back for my prompt return so I can move on in my search. Read more

Beautiful dress and the fabric is nice. But if you have a small top and larger hips it won’t work. The bottom is very tight and will pull in places if you get a size that won’t gape in the neckline really bad. Sadly had to return it. Read more
