I don't use false nails, so the little nail holders were not something I needed, but for those that do it's great that they're included. I specifically wanted the dotting tools and the brushes. You get a great assortment of brushes to create some cool nail designs. I have used several of the brushes, and the dotting tools practicing. The dotting tools have a variety of tip sizes, which is perfect for creating designs that require different sizes. I used them to make a really cute Halloween manicure. This nail set is just "ok." It's a good basic/beginner set that comes with very simple tools and a nice little instruction/info booklet. I was thinking it would come with more items (I know it said "15 pcs" but from the pics, it was hard to tell what all was included). Again, it's fine for a beginner and doesn't come with many fun little jewels and embellishments like other sets. Amazing nail set! My daughter loves to do her own nails and she was so happy with everything in it. She loves the plate to mix up colors on and it wipes off easily.
