Lot's of features. Not a cheap item. The Straight Cut is nice. That cut is not easy to find at the dollar-and-a-half store. There is a lock-closed button, possibly to keep the sharp edges sharp, or for some odd reason to save a clipping. My clippers are sharp. Having side walls, it/they traps clippings from flying off to a distant landing site. A Metal nail file is included and considered essential for deburring after clipping. My mother has incredibly thick toenails and this is literally the first brand I’ve ever found that opens wide enough. The little catch also keeps me from getting naked in the face when I help her with them (mobility issues). I also have the angled one, which works great on her ingrown nails. I love the design of these clippers and bought two pairs, a black pair for my husband and a silver pair for me. He opened his first, tried them and they worked great. I opened mine and tried them, but then noticed they were curved. I’ve been trying to find a straight pair and thought this was it. I was impressed by how easily these nail clippers could trim thick hard nails. They are the first ones we have found that trimmed the nails effortlessly. Great product. Just be careful because they are very sharp. Make sure you are cutting only the nail and not the skin. Read more
