This is a good, if not super heavy-duty, set of nail clippers. The blades are sharp and they work as designed. At $6, they are a good value for a decent set of nail clippers. I've used them several times now and they do the job just as I expected. Read more

This is just a basic dollar-store nail cutting kit. If anything, the thickness and heft of the metal felt a bit higher than average, but the actual sharpness and functionality was nothing impressive. The clipping ends felt like they needed to be thinner. They cut through the nails without leaving rough edges, but I felt I had to apply a lot of pressure to get through the nails, which I generally don't. Also, these were hard to grip, the ends lack the texture needed to hold on - even with dry hands. The edges are not squared, as shown in the pictures, but are very smooth and rounded. I have no idea why the texture pattern is raised on the top and dimpled on the bottom where it should be the other way around so that you have more texture for actually clipping nails, and not when the clippers are closed. Just terrible design. Overall, I don't recommend these. They are overpriced, and really nothing special. Read more
