Pure joy
Had the Native Union Laptop Stand before (the classic one, not Fold). Nice stand. Mine came with a tiny spot/blemish. annoying, but ok. With a 16 MacBook Pro I never fully relaxed though. Always felt like… one wrong nudge (or my cat) and it could slide tip. Maybe it’s just me, but yeah. Gave it to my wife perfect for MacBook Air 15 + iPad Pro 11. Looks great there. Ordered the Native Union Laptop Fold Stand for myself and… wow. This is what I wanted. Super clean. Super premium. Really beautiful. Whoever made this thank you. You did a great job :) PS: Sometimes it feels like there are “multiple” Native Unions on the market. Some products are amazing. Others… meh This one? Pure joy and so satisfying. Just beautiful. Worth It, surprisingly sturdy for size
I was between this and a very similar looking cheaper stand. It is very sturdy for its size, and I now use it when I travel. Although many people use it for ergonomics or to have a "cool" looking setup, for me it it personally serves well to elevate my laptop if I am eating or drinking nearby to avoid any accidents. With regards to sturdiness, the base doesn't move at all when I type. The only thing I notice is the screen moves ever so slightly compared to when my laptop is on my desk (not in annoying way though), so I wouldn't buy this for 8 hours a day office use. Lastly, I have a newer Macbook Air, which gets a little warm, so if in a warmer climate, can put the stand on my lap so the heat doesn't transfer to my body. Between a light laptop and weight + rubber coated legs of the stand, the stand doesn't dig into my lap. 100% recommend, at least if it's on sale. Read more

This is a great design and functions very well; however, it is very light metal. By applying a considerably light amount of force, I accidently snapped off one of the legs at the hinge. Read more
