It was nicely packaged with everything intact. Came in a long box in its orig packaging. There is a rubber mat that comes with it to prevent burns on your bathroom countertop when setting it down and a velvet draw string bag for travel to place the curling iron in. There was large hair clips that came out it’s it also to help section off your hair before using the curling iron to curl your hair. The color of the curling iron is a light lavender which is pleasing to the eye. It was heavy to use but it’s long so it can definitely handle longer hair. It heats up quickly and is hot when it does and while using it. You can easily control the direction you want for your curl.. it handles both right and left curl direction with the push of the button and to get the iron back to its original position before starting on another piece of hair to curl. This type of curling iron is new to me( I went to cosmetology so I’m familiar with many hot tools for hair and what they all do or not do to obtain hairstyles.. even though I’m in the medical field today). I have medium shoulder length hair and I can’t really ever see the back of my head no matter what kind of curling iron or straightener I use, to get the proper long curls in certain hair styles. But the hair don’t stick like some other curling irons. The only drawback that I had like many others here is the clamp to hold the hair to the curling iron is very short( would be helpful if it were longer). I’m definitely keeping it because you won’t find another curling iron with this type of good quality for cheaper anywheres. Amazon prime is worth every penny and the returns are easy peasy at my local Whole Foods Market but I’m keeping this beautiful lavender curling iron. Don’t wait on this one( your never going to be able to afford the big overpriced ones that everyone wants but once you get it find you don’t use it often enough to make it worth the purchase). Was thinking about the expensive pink one just like this. This one was on sale so I gave it a try. WOW! Nice packaging, accessories and a nice well made curling iron. Looks like I spent over a hundred! Tried it out and it works great! So glad I went with this one instead. Read more

I absolutely love this curler! I’ve tried so many different ones, and this is by far the best. It works just like the Beachwaver but at a much more affordable price. The curler is long which is a plus, I love the home button feature, adjustable speed settings, and included accessories are such a bonus. I have long, thick hair, and it gave me gorgeous curls! Frankly, I was afraid of it. It gets hot very fast. I couldn’t quickly figure out what to do, and the instructions were very small and sketchy. So I quickly unplugged it. I didn’t know what it meant about “sides.” I think you have to already be familiar with this type of gadget in order to use it right away. I would need a video tutorial and some practice sessions. So, no. Then I noticed a very thin plastic sleeve let on the curling iron itself, and it had melted on there during that one trial just turning it on and off within about 40 seconds. No kidding. Yikes! There’s a glove for handling the device. So back it goes. The heat range included a 400+ setting, and that’s the heat it begins with. I’ve seen much better and safer options for a beginner.
