This webcam has been an absolute game-changer for both my podcast recordings and daily Zoom calls. The 4K image quality is incredibly sharp and professional, and the larger 1/2" sensor really makes a difference in low light, my video looks clean and natural without needing a bunch of extra lighting. Setup was quick and painless, and it works flawlessly with my PC and recording software. What impressed me most is how polished everything looks on camera. Whether I’m recording a podcast episode or joining a meeting, people constantly comment on how clear and high-quality my video is. The autofocus is fast, colors are accurate, and it feels like a huge upgrade from typical webcams. If you want broadcast-level quality without the hassle of a full camera setup, this is an outstanding choice. Highly recommended for creators, professionals, and anyone who wants to look their best on video. Read more
This is my 4th video camera and finally the one I will hold on to for a long time. It’s worth the $100 for quality. The 4k is so real. I kept buying ones that were less and they just looked so fuzzy and I couldn’t ever get the color schemes right even with proper lighting. Super easy to setup. The software is superb and helps you adjust to ur liking. Amazon needs to push this cam out because it’s amazing and budget friendly. Read more
This is a great webcam. It's got good quality video, it's easy to setup, and most importantly it doesn't hide any settings from you. Tell me, what's easier?... Setting the zoom to hide any clutter you have in your room, or cleaning up the clutter? Setting the white balance, or repainting your room so the camera doesn't get confused? Setting the camera's iso, or setting up studio lights? Most other cameras hide these important settings from you because they don't want to "confuse" you. But what they're really doing is forcing you to adjust -to the camera-. But not the Obsbot Meet, it gives you all the settings you need to adjust the camera -to you-. There are, however, a few minor drawbacks: 1- The camera gets warm, even while in "sleep" mode. This means it's drawing a bit of power. 2- The microphone isn't the best, but it's not the worst either. 3- When I first plugged it in, it took 20 minutes to update the firmware 4- It uses a USB 2 connection. Meaning, all your video will be compressed, and there is an ever so slight delay. Still, it doesn't look bad. 5- I couldn't get the auto-tracking working. It just zoomed out to maximum. When I got it, I thought I'd use the HDR mode, but then didn't. If you don't want to go through careful setup HDR does make it a little easier, but if you play with it a little, you'll get better results without it, meaning the HDR probably isn't the best (but it's not bad). I don't know much about photography, but the interface made it easier enough to figure everything out. I find it a little ironic that OBS is a program most streamers use, called "Open Broadcast Software." It's used crop, tweak, and color correct. But this "OBS"-bot camera includes enough of that on it's own so that you don't have to use OBS. It's smaller than I expected. I'm guessing it's only as big as it needs to be. I like the look of it a lot. Stylish without drawing attention to itself. And the attachable privacy flap is great, since you don't have to worry about losing it. Read more
Amazing quality, focus, and zoom! I can’t really speak for the microphone on this, as I have a separate mic. It’s so tiny and looks great! My only complaint with it is that it gets extremely hot very quickly, but it doesn’t affect its performance. However does worry me about longevity. I would definitely recommends this to anyone looking for a great webcam with simple controls. It even has hand gesture controls that are cool, but I don’t use. Regardless cool features and easy setup. Read more
I got a Logitech 920c HD and it kept going out of focus, so I got this Obsbot to see if it was any better and and it was not even close. This Obsbot completely blows away the Logitech, they are not even in the same league for picture quality and staying in focus. First words from someone I was doing a ZOOM meeting with after I'd replaced the focus-challenged one with the new Obsbt: "Hey your image looks much better, what did you do?" This Obsbot did not go out of focus even once, and if you hold something up close to the lens for a close up it finds the focus very quickly, in just a couple of seconds at most, then instantly goes back in focus on your face soon as you take the closeup item away. The Logitech 920 was hopeless drifting out of focus and staying blurry for 2-3 minutes, over & over. Move your hands much when talking? You won't have to worry about the Obsbot losing focus by such movements. And the Obsbot is just a better looking, sharper, warmer, problem-free image. I can't tell you how much better it is, and it is well worth the extra cost. Read more
The media could not be loaded. So I was using a regular Razer Kiyo webcam and my stock MBP Facetime camera before this, and wow what an upgrade with this webcam. As far as functionality goes, I'm just scratching the surface of what I can do with it and the price is an unbeatable value for the money. The functions this camera can do with brightness, sound quality and zoom, and panning are amazing. As far as just pure camera functionality, even the stock image from like photo booth look great. The ability to set the camera to track different parts of you is a fantastic feature and the software is very robust and has both a beginner and advanced feature set. It work with everything from OBS to Microsoft Teams to Zoom without a hitch. I used to use the ring light on my Kiyo for improving my appearance while on camera but I don't even need that with this camera. The best part about this is how portable it is. I can toss it in my tech bag and barely notice it is there. Osbot knocked it out of the park with this webcam! Read more
