I specifically needed a webcam which does not include a built-in microphone because I already have a microphone which was included with my sound card. I do like the Privacy Cover which is a unique feature which can be a reliable means of preventing unwanted surveillance. This is an affordable webcam solution. It is certainly not the nicest one you could buy, but it should get the job done. This is rarely connected to my computer. I purchased it primarily for Zoom meetings and for skyping with girls.
