I selected this product from the many similar choices Amazon has to offer. I chose these based on price, description and reviews. I purchased medium and they fit very well, {5'10" / 185lbs / 32W}. They are snug, but I wouldn't call them true compression shorts. The waist will roll when you bend and they will slip down so you will feel the need to pull them up occasionally. The pockets are a great addition and the colors are nice. No fading from the wash has occurred. These shorts are a great value! They fit nicely. The pockets work great for my phone. I wear them as a liner underneath running shorts and I have never had any issues losing my phone. They add just a little bit of extra warmth in the winter but I wouldn't say they are too warm in summer. I have owned 4 pairs for a year and they have held up really well with no stretching.
