Honestly, I have been looking for years for the ideal car phone holder and this was the perfect purchase. It was recommended by a friend and I am glad to follow his advice. I tried the CD phone holder but eventually the holder started falling out of the CD slot. Then I tried the one where it suctions to the windshield with a foldable arm that allows the phone to rest on the dashboard. First, pain to install and it is an obstruction of my view. I have tried the cheap, plastic air conditioner holders but they eventually did not have the strength to stay connected to the vent and would not be able to close all the way on the phone. THIS product has strong clamps and they do not loosen at all. It is able to remain connected to the vents and there is no worry that it will fall. With the strong magnet that is attached to my phone, it's groove allows it to connect easily to the metal mount. I drive for Uber and have been having a difficult tome finding the right phone mount. This things is awesome. It clipped onto my 2014 corolla vent easily and has not let go at all. I put it to the side so I can still get air from the vent. The vents are pointed down, but thats where I want them anyway. I bought the larger tablet mount for my 6 plus and the phone does not move. Remember that this vent clip does NOT come with a sitcky mount. The vent clip can take either the smaller phone size mount or the larger tablet mount. I will never use another phone holder and I am eager to see what this company comes up with next. It can also be moved to another car simply. The clip is very solid and heavy feeling. Love the nite eyes Steelei system. I have seen a couple other systems out there. the main attraction to the others, is that there isn't a credit card erasing magnet on the back of something that goes in your purse and pocket. The advantage of having a magnet on the back of you r device is, in my opinion, priceless. I also have the connect system from nite eyes for my iPhone 6S. I can stick it to the underside of my car when I am working on it and need access to a guide. Or wast to have a recipe handy, I can stick it to my fridge.....and ultimately this is a review for the vent clip with works great. IT holds solid and have removed it and used it in rentals and friends cars over and over and it still holds firm. hasn't broken from fatigue use or anything as such. Great little nifty item. The best phone holder, without doubt. Works great with the design of the “rockform” case. The magnet for the back of the phone fits perfectly in the hole of the case without per trudging. Strong magnets, I just slap it on and let it go. No worries of it not holding. Yet it comes off without a problem when you want/need it. Great brand, great quality and durable design. But some design flaw: - This vent mount a bit short and not long enough, so your phone will get too close to your dashboard, leaving little to no room to rotate the phone and adjust angle. - There's no below support like other vent mount do, so depending on the way you do it, it could pull your vent direction downward and the entire mount facing down. Still among the market full of cheaply-made vent mount, I appreciate a brand like Nite Ize focusing on the quality and and engineering in their product. I have purchased many of these this is a vent model it allows you to put it inside the vent flap hold your phone at the appropriate position and it's easy to install easy to disconnect and it's stable when you're driving I don't know how much more I could say it's easy absolutely five stars in my opinion you won't go wrong using it.
