This is a great dog bed. I ordered two of them in the medium size for our 35# & 40# pups. I previously purchased one in another style (the one with faux leather sides & a bolster at one end) so I knew to expect a nice design + quality of materials & construction. Our dogs have those snuggly cave style dog beds with a sherpa lining that they can crawl into for winter, but our pups don't really enjoy sleeping on top of them during the warm weather. Plus, they do take up a lot of room. So, I usually put them away and try to find something else that will work, as one of our dogs has a definite need for an orthopedic bed. I thought this sofa style would be perfect for them. And it is. The wrap around bolster gives the bed a cozy feeling, and they enjoy resting their heads on it. The bed is thick and cushiony but not so high that it is hard for them to jump in. The velvety cover is soft and plush. The packaging is excellent. The bed is packed compactly into a sturdy but very nice product box that would be suitable for gifting. This box is packed into one of those made-to-fit outer boxes. The inner part of the bed is vacuum sealed in thick, durable plastic and consists of two parts, each with a zippered inner cover that can be removed for laundering; the bolster and the core. The outer velvety cover is a single piece with sections and can also be removed and washed. Once the vacuum seal is opened, the core and bolster start to expand right away. I find it easier to go ahead and assemble the bed right away and then sort of fluff it into place and let it attain its full size. The cover has two zippers. One for the bolster that runs 3/4 of the way around the bed and a second one for the core that opens 1/2 around the bed like an L shape. I put it together this way, and it only took a few minutes: First, I opened up the L-shaped zipper right at the seam between the bottom of the cover (with the little silicone grips) and the base. I think it is worth taking an extra minute or two to zip it closed slowly while evening out the core and making sure none of the fabric of the inner lining gets caught in the zipper. Simple enough. Next, I oriented the bolster with the center right in front of me and the ends curving away from me at each side. I opened up the zipper which is right at the seam between the part the pet will be lying on and the bolster. Look for the red stitching along the corner seams. Stuff each end of the bolster into the corresponding pocket and then start zipping (slowly) while pressing the rest of the bolster into place while also making sure to line up the red seams with the corners. The bolster is a bit bulky so it does take a little patience to do this. Ta-daah! Done. Writing this took a lot longer than just doing it. The beds look very nice in our living room. I did like the look of the beds with the faux leather trim, but I decided these plain ones would do just as well, and save me a little money in the process. I'm happy with my choice. The shape means they don't take up too much space and the grey velvet is a nice match to my couches. The beds have a very substantial feel and there is a handle on one side to make carrying them easy. The core is thick and cushiony + very supportive. No danger of our dogs sinking down almost to the floor when sleeping in these beds! The fabric of the outer cover looks very nice and feels quite durable. The zippers are sturdy and the zipper tab can be tucked in to the fold of fabric. The price seems very reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from this brand again. I've tried many dog beds over the years, and it truly is hard to find just the right one that is even close to being affordable. I purchased two of these dog beds and they are absolutely amazing! I honestly can’t believe how affordable they are for the quality. I had originally ordered a much more expensive dog bed, and it didn’t even come close to this one in terms of comfort or construction. These beds have so much more padding than the pricier options, and the fabric is incredibly soft, my dogs clearly love it. They sleep on them every single day and especially enjoy the mini couch style, which makes them feel cozy and supported. The quality is outstanding, and as a bonus, even the humans love them they’re so comfortable that we end up sitting on them too! I got 2 of the same brand but different styles for my 2 pugs because I wasn’t sure if they’d be cramped in just one. Plus it’s just cute. I’m glad I did the 2 combined because the border makes the laying space a bit smaller. This is a size large so I’d imagine if you have a big dog they would need a xl or xxl. Great quality. I did add my own waterproof liner to both even though it has one. Just for added protection. Love the foam thickness and the dogs like being a bit higher up. It’s a sturdy yet comfy foam. Very happy with these beds only wish they came in different or more color/pattern options. Read more

I've been looking for a dog bed locally and online for a few months. I always look for the best value for my money. This bed was only $10 more expensive than cheap counterparts and better made than way more expensive beds. The fabric is heavy and velvety soft. The bed part is plenty thick so that my older 35 lb dog doesn't end up sleeping on the floor. I walked on it and it will definitely provide enough cusion for his old bones. I’ve bought so many dog beds for my Great Danes over the last 12 years and this one so far seems to be the nicest one for the price. It’s affordable and nice quality. However I am confused because I saw a customer review with a Saint Bernard and the bed looked really spacious but my dog makes the bed look small lol. But he’s happy so I’m happy. He likes it so I love it. 10/10. It didn’t take very long to fluff up once removing it from the box, maybe a couple hours and I love that it has a handle, although I think the bed is too heavy to carry from the handle. Bear is very happy with his new bed. He has diabetes and is an older dog with pancreatitis and possible Cushing's so I needed a bed that offered some firmness but wasn't too hard, so he'd sleep more comfortably. This bed supports his body very well. I ordered the medium. I didn't want it too small, though he could have fit in a small but it would have been a little tight. This way he has room to move around or reposition himself, and to stretch out. He's about 11.5 pounds - a long-hair chihuahua mix that is bigger than the standard chihuahua size. I didn't have any trouble putting it together - went quickly and easily. You insert the bottom part in the cover and zip it up. Then you insert the bolster part in that area and zip that up. For me it was no problem at all. It will fill out a little more in a few days after you unbox it, but it's ready to go out of the box. It's a thick bed that sits well off the floor. Looks like a little couch. You can wash the cover. Very durable bed that should last. It's a nice looking bed. I'm happy with my purchase! Read more
