Buying a quality yoga mat will def help saving money in the long run. Compared to other mats i used in the past this is by far the top price performance product. I'm happy to say this mat gives my sensitive knee the support and cushion it needs. Design is so cool with a soothing effect. It’s also super easy to clean and doesn’t keep permanent dirt. I am so stoked with this purchase. Read more
Disclaimer: I'm not a yoga expert. I've done yoga once. My wife uses this for jumping rope, some stretches, and light aerobics. This is a well-made fairly heavy yoga mat that does not have a whole lot of cushion. It's not like the ones with the plasticky foamy texture with a lot of give. We had one of those and had to toss it because the outer layer was flaking off and leaving residue everywhere. This is much less cushioned than that one. This is basically a sheet of urethane on a few sheets of rubber underneath. If you bonk your head on it or fall on it, it's not as bad as hitting the floor, but not much better. Upon opening it, I aired it out outside for a day, and in the garage for another day, and was still giving off a slight odor for a few days (but manageable). I would probably recommend something like 2 days outside and 2 days in the garage. However, the grip is good and the amount of cushion it provides is okay for what we use it for. If grip is more important than having a spongy mat, then perhaps use this on TOP of one of those. But for direct contact to skin (in terms of grip and not flaking) we have more faith that this will stay together better than the other cheaper mat we got. As long as the price is in line with similar competitors I think this is a 5 star product. Read more
Probably the best yoga mat Ive used, though it the material that its made of makes it a bit heavy. The cushioned support you feel on this yoga mat is the natural rubber. The natural rubber has give with out being to hard or to soft like many synthetic materials can be. Ive used thick yoga mats before when it feels like your feet sink into the mat. I don't like that feeling and its not good for balancing. This mat is thick but made such where you have the support, but you aren't sinking into it. The polyurethane coating on the top surface is a great touch. Closed cell polyurethane is easy to clean and even more importantly easy to thoroughly disinfect. The mat really is slip resistant, so you won't be sliding around when the sweat starts to pour. I like the design but I dont like that its basically cut into the polyurethane layer down to the natural rubber underneath. This mat is made such that it would be great for other things to, like using on a hard floor as an anti-fatigue mat. Really good yoga mat. Its heft means you probably arent going to want to carry it around on a trip to the studio then out to lunch with some friends. I means its not ridiculously heavy, but it is hefty and having to carry it for long periods will begin to fatigue you. Read more
This yoga mat is about the same size as my Gaiam mat but a bit heavier. It provides excellent grip and rolls up nicely. I comes with a carrying strap to make it easy to transport. Read more

Not as thick as others I’ve owned but not the thinnest either. Love the design. It seems a little pricey for what you get but I still really like it. Read more
