Great system
This system is really great… I’ve lifted weights since I was 15 and we have an entire room dedicated to lifting, rowing, and other strength and aerobic-based routines (rowing, treadmill, etc). I am on a extended stay with family, and ordered this system and a simple bench to keep my muscle mass up. The weights cinch tightly and remove easily… honestly, there’s a bit of genius at work here. They’re not Olympic weights and don’t try to be – they’re just perfect for limited space. I do feel bad for the UPS drivers that have to deliver things like this, but hey it keeps them young. Great upgrade to my existing dumbbell set
I like the option to upgrade the weight to my existing set. I would also like the option to purchase another set of the padded handles and end cap weights so I can have multiple sets. Read more
They are bigger than the ones that came with the dumbells
The size is different (thinner and much larger circumference) than the 2.5 Ibs weights that came with the dumbbell set. That is disappointing and odd. Read more

Second purchase of these plates
Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about but these are the same size as the 2.0 version I bought last year. I've added 2 of these 20lb expansion packs so I can now use 40lbs on each dumbbell. I plan on adding another set soon. I love that these are easy to change, and compact. Between this and our adjustable kettle bells our whole gym can be stored in an area about the size of a carry-on suitcase. Read more
