This is a serious knife! More substantial in size and weight than I expected. Nice blade sheath but a little tricky to figure out at first. It looks very sharp, but we didn't test it since we're sending it back. The sharpened blade running the full length of the metal was intimidating for its intended recipient so back it goes. Ordered this earlier in the month but just got around to trying it out with the Thanksgiving week menu. At first look and feel it's really solid and feels good in my hand. It's very sharp but feels safe too. I used it yesterday to slice some large apples, then used it again to chop them as well. Tried to Julienne them just for practice and this was really easy and they came out super nice. This made a tireless chore super easy. Stability of this knife when cutting through hard apples was excellent, when a regular chef's knife might turn-over this wasn't moving at all. It feels very powerful in the hand. Next onto celery. This was child's play. So easy, So Quick to get the job done. Next was cheese. Made quick work of cutting perfect cheese cubes and triangles. Love it. Next was garlic. Minced it up so fast and easy. Finished my chores in record time with no worries about cutting myself or breaking my knife. I highly recommend this new type of Knife and see it as valuable addition to my kitchen tools. Read more

I just used our new Nulu Knife and was amazed how easy it was to use. Great for slicing meat and vegetables and it was so easy to switch to a chopping mode. My 22 year old grandson who has some hand mobility issues found this knife to move easily and made chopping and slicing easier. He also is visually impaired and because the knife sits up higher, he was able to use the knife without having to get his face very close to the product. I wish I had this knife years ago. Read more

At first I was afraid to use this knife but once I got the hang of it, I was hooked. It feels like the next iteration of knives.The no slip grip handle is great as I have wrist issues. It easily slices my food and I can use it for just about everything that needs to be cut. Kudos to the inventor. Read more

The rubber handle feels comfortable in my hand and I like the shape of it for slicing pizza and chopping salads. It’s made of nice metal and it’s sharp! You can use it to chop or cut depending on the angle. It allows your to use the front, or the bottom. It is not good for long items that need a long cut. This is more for chopping and dicing. I like the rocking motion you can use with this knife. I took 2 stars off because I feel like it is slightly overpriced for the quality knife you are getting. It is good quality but slightly overpriced. As well as the fact that it is limited in what you can chop with this. I do a lot of smokes with my bbq, and use a long edged knife mostly for long slicing. This I cannot use it with. If you are looking for a compact, slicing or chopping knife this is a good knife.
