This is my first iron from the Nume brand as well as my first clip-less curling wand. The glove didn't really work for me as it is a right-handed glove and I am left-handed, but I don't think one is absolutely necessary. I did burn my fingers a few times while I was getting the hang of it, but overall it's not difficult to use (just different!). Now for the results-this thing gives curls that last literally all day. With a good hairspray (I use drybar's "the warden") I can stretch my curls 2 full days. Note that on the second day, it won't be tight curls anymore but more wavy. Read more

This wand heats up to 450 degrees in no time! It also puts a nice curl in longer hair (my daughter) and a nice wave in shorter hair (mine). Be sure to use the glove, burnt my finger quickly! BTW, there was another review that mentioned they don't use the glove, because they are left handed. The glove can be used for either hand. Just hope it last a long period. Read more

This works ok. If I was using it every day I’d return it, but it works ok for a back up. Some reviews have said their curls last for days. This hardly curls my hair at all. I have another model of the NuMe titanium styling wand (the black one with three barrel sizes), and it works better. I use it regularly with the largest barrel (which is the same size as this pink one) and am very happy with it. I thought they’d work the same, but they don’t. I don’t know what the problem is. Beach waves. What!?! This is an absolute gem! Big beach waves in less than 10 minutes, I have thick wavy hair so I generally only curl the top layer but this tool makes my hair look amazing and because of my hair type the curls stay for days! Read more

I love this curling wand, but it doesn’t last long enough to be worth the price. I purchased one about a heat and a half ago from the Nume website and it died after about 9 months. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and wondered if maybe I had damaged it by wrapping the cord around the handle for storage. I bought a second one last January and was very careful with it. I never wrapped the cord and I never dropped it. Unfortunately, the same thing happened to this one as happened to the first one. It doesn’t work anymore. It is great while it works, but paying over $100 for a wand that lasts less than a year is a joke. Read more
