After foot surgery to fuse a toe joint my surgeon recommended that I apply a cream containing vitamin E to the incision after the stitches were removed. I bought this scar gel based upon the ingredients and price and am very pleased with the results. I had surgery on both feet (not at the same time) but one bottle was plenty for both three inch long scars. After applying it daily for four weeks or so the scars have virtually disappeared. Pro: Good, not great. I like this scar gel. It’s made my raised scar sink back into line along the rest of my skin. The scar itself is still very purple after a month of use. Not sure how long it generally takes, so I’ll continue to use it for now. The scar tape might work well on some other types of scars, did nothing for mine. Con: The gel is hard to get out of the bottle by pumping. You have to hit the bottle on a surface many times so that the gel gathers on the bottom. But when you have used most of it and the level is too low for the pump, but there’s still some in there, it’s impossible to get it all out. I feel wasteful just trashing it when there’s still some left. The scar tape made my skin very red, which took the better part of a week to go away. Just be warned that you might have a reaction to the tape like I did. Read more

I finished the entire bottle and unfortunately did not see any improvement in my scars. The product is also very watery and does not have a gel consistency as advertised, which made it difficult to apply. I was disappointed with the results and would not repurchase. Read more
