I love Nyx eyeliners. They are some of the best regardless of price point. These in particular do require a sharpener and are not twist up. I needed a replacement for a discontinued color in another brand and found this the closest. It adds a subtle but noticeable shimmer color to the waterline that makes eyes pop and is also an easy way to add color or bring a look together. I find the shimmer is enough to make eyes look awake but also a fun color to play around with. These are long lasting, waterproof, and smudge resistant. They last but do come off easily with makeup remover. If you need a creamy eyeliner that works on waterline or eyelid, these are perfect in every color. Read more

OMG I’m in my 60s and my eyelid skin is a little more fragile than it used to be, it’s crepey but this stuff is amazing. Color is gorgeous and fun too. I am so happy to have found this product. It goes on just like you need and want it to. Read more

Love the color. The pencil is actually plastic, which doesn't cut in a sharpener well, the point often breaks off. Be nicer if they were wood. Read more

I like to use this on my waterline for a little extra sparkle. It really brightens the area and lasts all day. Perfect for cool toned skin. It glides on like a dream and is smudge proof. Read more

I was hoping this would stay on as it was advertised to stay put for 36 hours. Unfortunately half of it wore off at the 2 hr mark. Im pretty bummed about it! The only eyeliner i found that has stayed put is a MAC branded one. I was trying to avoid spending $20+ on a liner. I may need to though as i am unable to find a cheaper liner that doesn't smudge or run. Read more

It's not like a regular pencil, which is what i thought it was. But it's like eyeliner inside of a plastic pencil.. so, my sharpener tears it up and I can't get a nice point... boooo! The eyeliner works nicely, but, yea Read more

This color is GORGEOUS on my neutral olive, as well as my faux tanned skin. It is a warm plummy brown on my non tanned neutral olive skin, and more of a dark warm terracotta brown when I am faux tanned. I LOVVVVVE this eye pencil -- it is very unique and hard to find this color! It reminds me of my beloved Prestige Cosmetics waterproof pencil in Teakwood, which was sadly discontinued. For ref, I have light, sallow, olive skin,; highlighted med to dark blonde hair; and med brown eyes. My preferred makeup look is a dramatic smokey eye and pale nude lips. I am so sick and tired of ashy, muted, blah mud- brown eye shadow and eye pencils! They make me look so bland and tired. THIS warm toned dark brown makes my brown eyes POP! I use this pencil as a shadow in my crease and blend out to create a warm plummy or bronzey smokey eye. I use the blackest black eyeliner and mascara. I sometimes will use a pale aqua pencil to double line above my black liner on upper eyelid. Of course, tightline too if you have sparse lashes. This warm smokey eye look pairs beautifully with MAC Embark, MAC Swiss Chocolate, MAC Devoted to Chili, MAc Saddle, etc warm brown and rust brown type eyeshadows. I usually use a pale gold or satin pale yellow ivory e/s on browbone. I love it with a pale, peachy nude lip. 😍 A coral or peach blush and warm bronzer complete the look. Note: To my Latina and Mediterranean sisters with either WARM tanned skin or sallow neutral olive skin, listen up! PLEASE stop wearing grey brown eye brow pencil, and muted ashy taupey brown grey blah eyeshadow!! This looks great on fair, nordic caucasian skin, but those cool tones are blah against our skin tones. Embrace the warmth in your skin (or lack of it! if you are sallow light olive as I am!) and use warmer toned makeup! You will thank me. 😊 Burnt Sienna also looks sooooooo good on olive or tan skin if you have blue, green, or hazel eyes. I think this shade may look too red on fair skin tones.? YMMV. You can always tone down the warm tones with a neutral eyeshadow, but I think Burnt Sienna is best for those with olive or tan skintones. JMO. :) Read more
