Preparing for hurricane season in FL. They take a lot of batteries but they work perfectly. Will just need to keep batteries on hand. Like the price for two. Quiet and puts out a nice breeze. Didn't rate the battery life since we aren't really using them...and hope we never have to! Read more
I bought the double pack of 10’ and one 5’. Both sizes provide a surprisingly powerful air flow, plugged in and on alkaline batteries. They are very quiet, similar to a white noise machine. The 5” only takes batteries, so I ran it on high for 4 days, all day and night, without having to change the batteries. I spent weeks researching, with exception of tiny handheld fans, every fan I found only takes rechargeable batteries! If your power is out for weeks, how are you supposed to recharge any type of battery???? I have lived on the Gulf for my entire 52 two years of life. Through three major hurricanes, tropical storms, and random blackouts in the hottest parts of the year. I wish I had these earlier. Read more
After experiencing several lengthy power outages due to summer heat and storms, we decided that the one little battery powered fan we had just wasn't quite enough, so we ordered these fans. Made by a subsidiary of the O2Cool company, these fans are nearly identical to the one we've had for several years. These use 6 D-cell batteries where the old uses 8, and these don't have a carry handle; otherwise, these are essentially the same fans. Two speeds, quiet, easy to move, no prone to tip over due to the weight of the batteries, very convenient to use. We haven't had to use them yet, so I can't attest to battery life, but our older fan is still running on a set of batteries we first used two years ago. That set is removed when the fan is stored, but when in use, that set has operated for several days and nights now. If the new fans are as efficient or better, we expect to be very happy with the purchase. Read more

These are great AC/battery fans. I have four of them that are part of my hurricane kit and is also great for power outages. The battery case is a little difficult to open & get closed. Other than that, I highly recommend it. Read more
Received 2 in a pack. One works great. But it was a present months ahead of time. So when the present was open it was too late according to Amazon to return. One worked part time. I tried to notify the company that makes them and they refused to fix or replace it because I bought it on Amazon. Amazon told me it's too late to return. SO I am stuck with a bad fan. But so far the good one still works. Read more
