Love the style! Perfect match for my house! Also, the flat light cover makes it look nicer! I hate the ones with rounded plastic covers - they look 1990’s! This one is perfect and my hubby had no issues installing with the instructions! Very functional and good power when on! Keeps room cool and it is right by our slider between our kitchen and FR. These fans are total crap!! Don’t buy! I bought 3 for 3 new bedrooms and have had to replace 2 on my way to replace a 3rd!!! I realize they are cheap but after 5 months they shouldn't just die! Ugh Read more

This is the 2nd order for this particular ceiling fan... Package arrived next day after order. Fan box was placed in a larger cardboard box for shipping, it bounced around during shipping but the manufacturers box arrived in good shape. The fan was very well packaged, instructions were adequate even though I didn't use them. The fan came with a 6" downrod. It was replacing an older ceiling fan with a 24" downrod, so I had to make some modifications... not difficult, a little time consuming. I had to lengthen the 2 wiring harnesses (6 wires) by about 18". I soldered and shrink rapped the connections. The wires for the DC fan were quite a bit thinner then normal AC wiring, so I had to be a little careful in the stripping/soldering. I took the 24" downrod from the old fan, and compared it to the downrod that came with the Ocioc fan... it would work without any problems so I simply painted in matte black and it looks perfect. The fan installed easily. When I turned the power on, Alexa found it immediately and I was able to add it to my existing devices. (I already had the SmartLife App installed.) The remote control that came with the unit works well, but I don't need it since Alexa controls it very nicely. The blades seem to be perfectly balanced, no wobble at any speed. It is also extremely quiet... no fan motor noise, only the sound of the air. The fan has 6 speed levels, 1 - 6. Level 1 is a pleasant movement of air, level 6 is VERY strong... can't image using it at all. I have used level 2 a few times, but I normally keep it at level 1. The LED light works well, and can change temperature from bright sun light to warm yellow. My only criticism about this fan is that while the light can be adjusted from 1 to 100% brightness, I wish there was a bigger intensity difference between the two extremes... even at 1% it is brighter then what I hoped for.
