This is a handy fan, I got it to try to hold off for another month before installing the AC to cut back on the electric bill. I think I’ll keep it out year round. I haven’t really been using the water feature so much but I enjoy the oscillating fan. It was a bit expensive but it looks nice in a good quality. It’s nice to know I have the water cooling feature if I want to use it. The low setting is quiet and if you need white noise, you can turn it all the way up. Good air flow for my space! Read more

Electricity prices make running HVAC systems fairly prohibitive. These Dreo evaps, I have two, work well for single room cooling and comabting the dry air if that's your climate, at fractional watts usage. The tanks could be bigger but for a slim design pretty good. If you run them constantly in a dry environment expect to refill every 12hrs. With two at either end of a long space with a decent fan in-between you'll get decent circulation cooling. Cats enjoy laying in front of them. Appreciate has a decent blind and functionality, and remote control via Wi-Fi, fairly quiet compared to other evap, attractive design and quality assembly, multifunction to include timer. Read more

This product is advertised very accurately. It is NOT an A/C unit, is a cooler. My bedroom does not have A/C so it gets pretty darn hot once we hit 90 degree + I did a lot of research and wanted an actual indoor compact A/C unit. The windows we have at the apartment I’m staying are the ancient old windows that open sideways so there is no way I could use the A/C units that require an exhaust duct. The one I found that it is “ductless” is useless because the heat that is created by it goes right back into the room so that’s completely pointless. Then by pure accident I found this product and I became super curious because it “cools” the hot air that goes through it without generating heat. I said awesome!!! So I purchased the large size and gave it a test run during a 90 degree entire week. In short words: It DOES work and it does exactly what it says, it cools the air indeed but I want to make it clear that the air is NOT cold, it just feels a bit cooler compared to the hotter air that’s already in the room, which is good. Please understand that this product is not going to cool the air to no 65 degrees. Again is not an A/C unit so maybe this is not what you need. But it is not perfect so I had to do some adjustments to take advantage of this product. When I put it on the floor pointing at the bed towards me I hardly felt the air so that doesn’t work. I grabbed this unit and I put it on top of my night stand pointing at me and once raised then I started feeling the cooler air. Another thing to consider is that you have to point this product towards you otherwise you won’t feel that cooler air. Again this is not A/C and this product is NOT capable of cooling the room you’re in, this is a very DIRECTIONAL air product that you will only feel some amount of coolness if pointed toward you. If you want something to cool the entire room you’re in then don’t even bother with this because this product can’t do that. Also the low speed which is also the quieter setting is useless as I personally didn’t feel any cool air. I had to put it on the number 2 or higher speed to feel the cooler air. The ice pack performance: I personally did NOT feel any different or cooler air when using the frozen ice packs and to me it made no difference so I stopped wasting my time with the ice packs. Personally I find that a pointless gimmick. The room is so hot that in a few minutes those ice packs will be at room temperature so the ice packs are no longer effective and do absolutely nothing. Other than that I’m super glad I discovered this product and I want to congratulate the engineer behind this invention. I feel this is a very innovative product and although is not perfect it does provide relief for me when using it correctly in the hot summer days. I left this fan on all night in my 12 by 12 bedroom with the door closed while sleeping and I was able to sleep a lot better and cooler vs not having this at all. Two of these might work better but unfortunately at the moment I don’t have the space for it. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I use a fan every single night—365 days a year—for both sound and a soft breeze while I sleep. After retiring my 10-year-old Honeywell fan and evaporative cooler, I knew I needed something next-level. This fan absolutely delivers. It’s sleek, quiet, and powerful. The swamp cooler function genuinely cools down our bedroom on warm nights, and the included ice packs make a noticeable difference. The remote and app are incredibly convenient (especially when I’m already in bed), and pairing it with Alexa made it feel like a smart-home upgrade. I loved it so much, I bought another for the guest room! Pros: •Powerful cooling with swamp cooler feature (and ice packs!) •Smart controls via remote, mobile app, or Alexa voice command •Slim profile fits well in corners and tight spaces •Timer + multiple speeds/modes (great for night settings) •Very quiet on lower settings—great for light sleepers Cons: •Somewhat bulky to move (no wheels or handles), but that’s minor •Water tank is a bit small if you plan to use cooling mode every night •Initial setup and app pairing take a few minutes—not hard, but not instant Final Thoughts: If you’re like me and rely on a fan year-round for comfort and sleep, this is a fantastic investment. It’s modern, effective, and full of features I didn’t know I needed. Dreo knocked it out of the park—I’m a fan for life now (pun fully intended). Read more

The "swamp cooler" functionality that you're paying extra $ for is not very good. That added water feature barely cools the air it blows. Maybe a degree, or two with added ice. So, technically, it does what it says it will...just not very well. The issue is that you can get a much better Dreo fan for less money, which makes this one seem like a bit of a scam. About $60 more for a bulkier fan with fewer options and not as strong, just to gain a degree or two? No thanks. Returning and getting the cheaper, better one. Read more

WOW!!! This fan is cool as ever, literally. It cools our room down 8 degrees. We live in AZ and we have western sun on our bedroom wall. I was thinking about adding a mini split, but this fan has made a huge difference in the temperature in our bedroom. No remote, just works from an app on your phone or buttons on the fan its self. The media could not be loaded. I live in a one-bedroom apartment with my little dog, and this cooler is a lifesaver for the summer! It’s compact, quiet, and super easy to use. I love that I can add ice packs and even real ice cubes to make the air cooler. The best part? It doesn’t dry out the air like an AC, and I can still keep a window slightly open to get fresh air flowing. My dog loves lying near it—it keeps the whole room comfortably cool! Totally worth it, especially for small spaces like ours. Highly recommended! Read more
