We went camping in the middle of nowhere and it was a particularly cold night with strong winds and no protection. We forgot the fire pit so the fire would get the full brunt of the wind...and yet, this firewood burned like a champ. It was easy to light with the help of a little fire wax and from there it just kept on burning without any issue whatsoever. It was well packaged, making it easy to transport. There was no smell, it was clean, looked great, burned well and gave off loads of heat without too much smoke, and was a pleasant and consistent flame.
