I bought this after having a bit of a scare when my dentist started taking my BP and they told me i was 140/something and it freaked me out. Thankfully i'm actually in the normal range but this will still be good to keep daily readings of my health as i approach my 40's and deal with my life stresses. It's fairly straight forward and easy to use, the little storage bag that comes with it is a nice bonus as well. The screen is easy to read, numbers are nice and large so no need to squint. The only annoying bit was trying to get the bluetooth to work. The directions are not exactly clear that you can't hit the bluetooth pairing button while the device is "on", that will just keep taking you to the "records" section, even though they're supposed to be 2 different buttons. You need the device off and then you hold down the bluetooth pairing button until the P appears. I honestly can not understand that design choice. The bluetooth button should not count as the "records" button as well if the device is on, when there is a dedicated "records" button as well. Like why? Read more
We've been using an old Microlife unit that we've had for 20-25 years. It's been our old- faithful machine. The only reason I decided it was time, was it doesn't work well on battery power, even with fresh batteries. The machine often wouldn't complete the measurement, or the measurements were extremely slow. After a lot of research, we pulled the plug on this Omron. I didn't want to get a battery only model because of my experience with my current machine. The listing on this Omron gives the impression that it is battery only, and makes no mention that it will take an adapter, yet an adapter is available. It's crazy, they don't include this information, and I wouldn't have known had I not run across the adapter by accident on Amazon, then researching further by obtaining a copy of the owner manual. All that said, the machine works wonderfully. At first the pre-formed cuff looked difficult to use. But it actually is nice. It slips right on, tightens right up quickly when you push the start button. I like it much better than the roll up type. The machine powers up quickly, pumps the cuff up quickly, and gives a reading in about 30 seconds or so. I took a reading 3-4 times, and all of them were close. So it appears the machine is pretty accurate. There was very little variation. My only complaint is with the zip bag. Rather than a case, it doesn't really offer any protection. It doesn't even have a carry strap, and it's made of thin nylon, which makes it slippery and hard to carry, easy to drop. My old Microlife machine has a well made carry bag made out of a lightweight canvas, and has a carry strap. It has a place for the manual. This one doesn't even have that. As worthless as this bag is, I may just toss it out and just keep the unit in the box, or buy an aftermarket carry bag or case. Judging from the obvious high quality of the product, I know Omron could do better with the zip bag with a little more thought. I'd gladly pay a few more bucks for a better way to store this thing. My older roommate 64 started having BP issues and when I went with him to see his cardiologist I saw they used these so I am not 38 but decided to buy one to have and check my BP cus can happen at any age, it’s easy n I love I can store the data on my phone Only thing I find different is his has the wrap n tight cuff and mine has a hard pre cuffed one, I don’t know If that’s a big deal but I prefer the wrap n tighten one better than mine but Omicron is what heart ♥️ drs recommend so best to get what they use n trust Read more
I had to replace a cuff I’ve had for years and had been proven accurate. I like this one even more. It’s faster, quieter, and giving me the same results, so it seems just as accurate. It also stores result and uploads them into an app so you have history. Getting on the cuff is a little clumsy at first, but I quickly figured out the best way. Really nice!! Read more

This is a very fine machine. I had another brand but it gave inconsistent readings and my doctor said "Get an Omron". Fortunately I was just inside the return window so I sent that one back and got this for the same amount of money. This takes readings quickly and accurately. It is very solidly made. You can also download a free phone app which automatically pulls readings from the device. Installation was a bit complicated - the instructions were not great. But then suddenly it was working and it pulled the readings automatically. Now I am used to it and it is so sweet. I take a reading and 10 seconds later it appears on the app in my phone. I can take the readings and export them and send them to my doctor (who just requested three weeks' worth of readings). I can also delete readings before exporting - this is useful because I often take several in a row just to make sure I'm getting a good value, but I don't want to send all those reading to the doctor - it would be very confusing. A great unit. Read more
