I recently purchased the **One in a Mill Pearl Barley 3lb Bulk**, and I’m so glad I did! It’s become a staple in my pantry for all kinds of meals. The **quality of the barley** is exceptional—each grain is clean, fresh, and cooks up perfectly every time. Whether I’m making a hearty soup, adding it to a salad, or using it as a side dish, this barley holds its texture beautifully and adds a wholesome, nutty flavor to every meal. What I love most about this bulk option is that it’s **incredibly cost-effective**. The 3lb bag lasts a long time, even though I use it regularly. It’s also so versatile! I’ve used it in stews, risottos, and even made a breakfast porridge out of it. The grains cook evenly, and it never turns mushy like some lower-quality barley tends to do. Another great feature is how **nutritious** it is. Pearl barley is high in fiber, and I feel great incorporating it into my diet. It’s an easy way to add something healthy and filling to my meals without much effort. If you’re someone who enjoys cooking with whole grains, or if you want to try adding something new and healthy to your dishes, I highly recommend **One in a Mill Pearl Barley**. It’s affordable, high-quality, and incredibly versatile! I’ll definitely be buying this again! Read more

Great tasting. I made a batch and one evening just warmed a small bowl of it with milk and berries for a night snack. Under roasted veggies it was tasty and I even put a handful in my crockpot to cook with my beans. All very filling. Haven't made barley soup yet. I think this is gonna be my replacement for rice for a while. Be sure and rinse it before cooking. Read more

I've made porridge, soup, grain bowls, and barley tea out of this and all around I'm enjoying it. Probably healthier for me personally than regular rice, but has a stronger texture than perfectly cooked rice. And more flavor. Tastes better with some butter and garlic than with soy sauce and ginger, but that might be a preference thing. I did find that when making this in a rice cooker, the porridge setting gets me better (softer) results and less boiling over. I don't regret getting this barley. It's good. Read more
