Ontel Armor Nail Gel Pink 0 45 Fl Oz As Seen on TV

I don't remember if I've written a review of this stuff before, but I've been using it for at least a decade! It's so SHINY, dries almost instantly. Is a great base coat and then after applying a color, it's a great top coat. Gives a slight pink shine. Definitely makes my nails grow FAST. I can't say how much I love this stuff. There are so many other polishes out there that claim to shine and be nutritious for your nails, and I've ordered them all, but this one far exceeds everything else I've tried. Wear on bare nails, or like I said, wear with color. It's a perfect polish. Don't know why I don't see more advt for it because I'd be screaming from the mountain tops how great it is! Read more

I have very weak nails. They constantly bend and then break. With Armor Nail Gel that does not happen. Two light coats actually make my nails so much stronger, and they never break when I'm wearing the gel. It has a very faint pink tint, which makes the finished nail look more natural and healthy, with a clear polish. A third coat would give a little more of a pinkish look. I have used this product for the past 25 years and I love it!f I keep 2-3 bottles in stock at all times so I don't run out. If you don't use Gel Nailpolish because it's unhealthy and expensive... If you have a problem with regular nailpolish peeling off... If you have your hands in warm water often and your nails tend to crack, THIS is the polish for you ! No more peeling and greatly minimized cracking ! It lasts all week and then needs to be removed and reapplied. I find it works best to do a first coat right before bed on dry hands and no more touching wet things til the morning. It dries incredibly fast. Great as an under coat to any colour and great as a glossy top coat. It does have a slight light pink sheer tint. Read more

A year away from the big 6-0 and my nails have weakened, splitting easily. I stopped wearing acrylic nails 10 years ago after wearing them for about 15 years. While my nails were damaged when I stopped, most of that damage was gone in about a year. About 2 years ago, nail polish began peeling and chipping off the day after I applied it, completely off most nails within 4 days. I have recently been using the alcohol wipes to clean off any oils prior to applying polish and that has extended my polish wear by a day or two. I prefer to wear clear/clear-pink polish, but have been unable to find the darker pink tinted, clear polish in my area. I saw the Pink Armor and decided to give it a try. I washed my hands thoroughly, leaving them to air dry for at least 15 minutes, then applied the first coat. It did dry quickly, but I still waited about 10 minutes before applying the second coat. I then let that dry for two hours before putting my hands in any water. The next day I applied a third coat and allowed that to dry 15 minutes before using my hands. Two days later, the polish is still fully intact...no peeling or chipping. The color is not exactly what I expected. Under medium indoor lighting, my nails look healthy...natural looking pink nails with brighter white tips. But under bright lights and sunshine (I live in Arizona!), the pink color is a weird, almost neon pinkish lavender with really bright white tips...kinda takes away the "natural healthy" look. So I give it a 5 star for staying on my nails where other polishes won't, a 5 because my nails do look better, and a 3 for the color. While I do agree the price is very HIGH, it doesn't affect the performance of the product, so it does not affect my rating. UPDATE: Okay, I've been wearing this for about 2 weeks now, and for me, I do like this polish over others I've tried recently. The first week, the tips began peeling a little on day four so I added another coat...problem solved. On day eight, I removed the polish easily, and again painted two coats as described above. For the past week, I've added another coat every other day, and I've had no problem with peeling, chipping, etc. I've also noticed my nails do look better, and seem to be stronger. This is literally the only nail polish I use. It goes on easily and dries so freaking fast. And for being gel, I don’t feel like my nails look like total crap afterward. Most of the time I apply one coat and that’s it. Yes, two coats will hold better but I’m lazy ok. But you really only need one coat for it to look good if you’re pressed for time. So this nail polish is magical - it does what it shows on the box. I have no idea how, but it’s basically clear but when you go into the sun, it becomes like an opaque pinkish white and it literally smooths out all the changes in your natural nail color (from nail bed to tip) to make it more uniform without adding an actual color. So your nails literally look longer and ready to be used has a hand model. No joke. Also, I’m bad at painting my nails (like literally paint all over my skin), but with this stuff, it blends seamlessly into your natural nail so you literally can’t tell if you mess up or miss a spot.
