I recently had major rotator cuff surgery and have been using optp pro shoulder support for several weeks - it is a fantastic addition to my recovery process! I was very skeptical about this product before I ordered it. I needn't have been concerned. This is an outstanding product. Because of my muscle disease, I can't support my arms, particularly my left arm. I am in near constant pain every minute of my life. This product has diminished that pain and discomfort about 98%. Though I have furniture with arms throughout my home for arm support, my arm pain can be extreme. Not any longer because of this marvelous aid. It fits comfortably. It really works great. The support is great if it stays in place. The strap really isn’t for skinnier arms and I am constantly having to reposition or pull it back into place. Even with a fair number of layers underneath the pillow still shifts around a lot or starts to slip down. I have a frozen shoulder, and this shoulder pillow has been amazing! In theory, this is very helpful. In practice, it isn't tight enough to stay on, which is very annoying. My arms aren't particularly small (I'm tall and wear a size large in women's clothing), so if it's too big for me, it's gonna be too big for a *lot* of other people. A year after fracturing my shoulder, I still have shoulder pain at times. If I lie down in certain positions, my shoulder aches. That can make sleeping difficult, if not impossible. Carrying things—even if they are light—can also cause my shoulder to ache. In short, I have problems from a lack of support for my shoulder and I was really discouraged until a friend told me about the OPTP PRO Shoulder Support. I bought my OPTP support about six weeks ago and it has been amazingly helpful. I wear it at night when I sleep and it really helps me get a good night’s rest. I put it on, use a small pillow under my forearm, and can sleep on my side without any problems. It’s like sleeping before my injury! I also wear it during the day when I have to be especially active. Last week I had to travel by plane. Wearing the OPTP PRP Shoulder Support really made sitting in my seat much more tolerable!
