I am new to the Matcha world, but this brand was great! I am trying to wean off coffee and was looking for a replacement that will still give me a boost but is better for me. Packaging was so pretty too! I bought the whisk and the spoon, as well to complete my set. Happy I did! Read more

Fantastic and tasty, but quite expensive. You can get more for your money with other products. Read more

This Matcha Tribe Organic Premium Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder with tea from the Uji, Kakoshima, and Shizuoka regions of Japan is very good. My review is based with just 1g powder and 6oz water. It's got the distinctive milky grass/field scent and the green is a muddy green (it was not bright green for me). I mixed it with a hand-held frother. It foamed a bit and the bubbles remained for quite some time. The taste is clean and balanced, with a barely distinguishable bitter taste. This will be excellent in lattes/mixed drinks. Awesome! Recommend! Read more

This Matcha Tribe Organic Premium Cerimonial Grade Matcha Powder is Heavenly. It truly is a superior grade matcha tea and high quality. Any tea I've ordered from Amazon has not been this good. I'm not a big matcha tea drinker. I like it but it's not something I go out of my way to obtain. I thought I'd try this matcha because I was wanting something different. I read about the owner of Tribe in the description and saw they had a recipe for their matcha and wanted to try the matcha so I ordered it. As soon as it arrived I was in the kitchen testing the matcha and preparing a matcha latte. I followed the recipe given in the description but exchanged vanillia for real vanillia scrapped beans and rain forest wildflower honey. I also frothed the cold milk. I put the matcha in a tumbler because I was going outside to work in my garden. The matcha latte was amazing! I could taste the notes of green grass almost an earthy herb taste to it with a hint of citrus. The vanilla beans and wildflower honey gave it such a lovely taste. I ended up preparing lattes the whole rest of the day and evening. I was reallÿ enjoying the matcha and experimenting with different recipes. I usually order my teas from China, Japan and my earl grey from Paris. This Matcha Tribe Organic Premium Cerimonial Grade Matcha Powder is now on my tea list and I will be ordering more. It's well worth the price point and a little goes a long way unless your like me and decide to enjoy it several time's throughout your day. Lol. When it comes to my tea only the best and wonderful tasting tea will do. Tea is a big part of my life and what I drink the most. This matcha has now become one of my favorites. Thank you Tribe Tea for creating such a beautiful matcha tea. It truly is lovely. Read more

The manufacturer in no way hides this information, but it's good to put it out front: This is not purely Uji matcha, the region that produces the finest matcha. This matcha is a blend from Uji, Kagoshima and Shizuoka, three different regions. Uji has been producing matcha for several centuries. The latter two are large tea regions which definitely produce excellent teas, but their production typically involves machinery. It would be nice to know the relative proportional content from the three regions. Okay, how is it? First of all, the color is not quite the brilliant green I associate with the finest matcha, although it isn't dull either. The fragrance is good when opening the package. The tea does produce some foam when being prepared. The taste is pretty good. Although it's not unique to this seller, the recipes provided by them are, it seems to me, something of a waste of genuine ceremonial matcha, where the delicacy and refined taste would be completely lost. Like a lot of good tea, it should be consumed within a few months of opening the foil sealed packet. The tin says the expiration date is January 2026. Read more

I've had matcha before, but i've never made it at home until I found this ceremonial grade matcha on vine! I thought I would end up gifting it, but I'm so happy I didn't. I feel indulgent and spoiled when I make this on a quiet saturday afternoon. Great stuff!! Read more

As someone who's still getting into matcha, I found the flavor to be smooth and balanced, without that overly grassy taste that can be off-putting. I followed a recipe I found and made a delicious iced matcha latte with oat milk, vanilla syrup, and a sprinkle of cinnamon. The combination is delightful and refreshing! The matcha whisked up easily, and I appreciated how it blended well with the other ingredients. While I do think the price is a bit on the higher side for the small 1.06-ounce tin, the quality is evident. Knowing it’s grown organically in Japan and stone-ground makes it feel worth it. I’m excited to keep experimenting with different matcha recipes and enjoy the boost in energy and focus it provides. If you're curious about matcha, this is a great option to start with! Read more

This matcha is excellent! The flavor has a lot of depth - mild sweetness, earthy tones, slight bitterness. The powder dissolves well and the tea is smooth to drink (not chalky like some teas). It tastes great both hot or cold and mixed with water or milk. I also really enjoyed the tea as a latte with a little sweetener - it is a more mellow profile. I appreciate the high quality of the tea and that it is organic. Read more
