I bought this to replace a very thick, comfortable topper that contained polyester filling. I am replacing all of my bedding that contains synthetic fibers with all-natural products. I was impressed with how well-made this topper is, and it fits my queen mattress nicely. The first night I slept on it, I definitely noticed it isn’t as thick as my old one. The second night, I slept like a baby! It is so comfortable, and I no longer wake up overheated in the night. I am soooooooo happy with this mattress topper!!!! Well worth the money. It is so well-made with all natural, non-toxic materials, no smell, and soooooo comfortable. I bought it to improve the feel of my new but uncomfortable king mattress and I'm so glad I did. I now have no back or hip pain from my mattress. Even though the topper is of wool construction, it promotes air flow and I'm actually cooler when I sleep and the quality of my sleep has drastically improved. Wish I bought this topper sooner. It was delivered quickly and fit my new king size bed comfortably and has straps to hold it in place. I have a deep pocket sized mattress so was worried it wouldn’t fit but it does! Airing it out a few hours helped with the wool smell but I honestly don’t mind it. Comfort is key right? Didn’t know what to expect as this was our first wool mattress topper. We appreciate the thoughtful, organic materials and thought it was cool to support a small family business. So far we think it’s great! Good thickness that quickly softened into our mattress. The sections are sewn with a big thick thread by hand, it looks great and it feels so special being handmade. Also the elastic straps in the corners are a great touch and really help to keep the topper in place. There’s still a very faint wool smell several months after purchasing and so our pajamas tend to smell a bit like wool, but it’s nothing a little refresher spray can’t overtake. I love that it's all natural and organic. It definitely made my mattress more comfortable. It had no smell and fit under the fitted sheet without issues. I was also looking for something to keep me cooler at night, because I felt like I was roasting on the Talalay foam topper I used previously. This topper does get a bit warm, but not nearly as warm as the foam topper, and it seems to cool faster when you turn over. Hmmm, as a mattress topper I do wish it can maintain its shape—so I took off one star. I ended up keeping it as I really do like and appreciate the quality of it, it’s made of wool, and it keeps me warm/comfortable every time. I now use it as a blanket or a duvet …I really don’t know how to maintain its shape with 100% of wool, it’s not a natural of it. So I chose another cotton fabric/product as mattress. Read more

Great. Exactly what I expected and it has been a pleasure to sleep on paired with a cheaper 3 inch synthetic floor futon mattress. Provides the right firmness for me when using both together. It could work as a bed by itself if you prefer very firm, the wool feels nice to lay on. It is fairly thin so don’t expect a huge cloud of wool, if you want that get a wool mattress or two of these. Be careful about returns, they don't get processed very well. I got the wrong size by mistake and returned the item via a Kohls return. Initially the timeline showed it would take a week to ship it back, now it has gone to 2 weeks and the credit to be issued a week later. I would like to get my mattress topper in the right size but I have to wait until the credit is issued so I can use it to purchase the right size. I attempted to contact the company via their contact form on their website with no response, I tried their email and that just bounced back to me.
