would definitely NOT RECOMMEND these
Review of 72-watt LED 4ft fixture - Review & comments written by a 40+ year IBEW electrician, I’ve worked in the empire state building as well as the world trade center, point is I’m more than qualified to review these truthfully. these are without a doubt the worst fixtures I have ever used & installed. Firstly, it is not made to actually be hard wired or jumped together. It is made to be used with a cord and plug, after you wired it to that effect. First realization this is a terrible light and incredibly hard to install is just trying to get the bord off the plastic backing, the clips used to hold it there is a fight itself just to get it off and that is on a table, now fast forward and try doing that over head on a ladder, nearly impossible. The fixture holding brackets they give work great on the table but after securing them to the celling however you do, they do not fit properly. I had to rip the guts out and jerry rig 10 of these just to get them up, I wasted nearly 900 dollars on these and had I had a half of brain when just opening the package and first problem just taking off the board over clips, I should have realized this was going to be a nightmare. Any one saying these went up easy and great are lying, they are nightmare and I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND these at all. Conduit hole is not a ½ and there is only one and not both ends. to install these, you need to be really inventive if you got stuck with the as I did. Not made to be hardwired, just with a cord and plug. Light board nearly impossible to clip back on overhead or even in general. Lastly 12 wire very hard to connect to board, it’s made for perhaps a 14 or 16 size. Read more
