Osprey Arcane Roll Top Commuter Backpack Cascade Blue

This is awesome backpack and it is my first roll top backpack. I absolutely love it every day take it to work. Following are the justification points: 1) outer materials feel soft but very clean an supreme. It is water repellent so keep all stuff inside dry even in heavy rain. 2) the outer pocket is big enough for throw in a jacket or shirt, easy access. Great design. 3) the water bottle are is very well designed and wrap your entire bottle water well. Not only it invisible from view and it secure you can run and jump with backpack. Only sacrificing is your bottle can’t be too big. 4) interior is simplistic and well balanced with a zip pocket and laptop and iPad pockets 5) it is lightweight and can compress flat if you want to pack into 22” suitcase for travel. I have been looking for a more professional-looking replacement for my beloved Dakine for years and this one is it. I actually saw a friend with it in grey and loved it. They had theirs for three years and it still looks brand new. I already have three other Osprey backpacks of various sizes for backpacking in the woods and backpacking through Europe and Asia and have had universally great experiences with all of them so when I saw this wine red option I jumped on it. I love the twin laptop/tablet sleeves and how securely it holds and how slim it is while carrying a 16" MacBook Pro, 13" iPad Pro and iPad mini. The roll top keeps everything dry and secure and the quick access pocket runs the full height of the bag. I wish the water bottle sleeve was a tiny bit taller as a standard hydroflask doesn't fit well but a 20oz plastic bottle fits perfectly. The perfect size for a waterbottle, jacket, and whatever else you need for the day. Has enough pockets to be useful but few enough to make going through amusement park security a breeze. Gets taller as you fill it but doesn't widen much, making it great for taking on rides. Very light and comfortable enough for all-day wear. Read more
