Omg I love this case! I always stayed away from this thinking it would be bulky But it’s so smooth and solid! It hugs the phone perfectly. Given I have an iPhone 12 Pro cuz I upgraded the wife’s phone instead So I need this one to stay whole a little while longer this case gives new life to the phone I had (2) commuter cases prior by OtterBox and each ran aboout a year solidly before daily drops cracked the frame and compromised the integrity of shock absorption. This case is a whole new game, a little thicker and I didn’t know I was suppose to take it apart and not just slip it in. The rubber to plastic body is seamless and integrates the phone as if it were one! The port cover for the chargers and silent alarm switch is nice to keep dust out. The Otterbox Defender case is hands-down the best way to keep your iPhone from getting hurt. I've worked as a chef for many years. Keeping in touch with vendors, taking calls from customers, meant I needed my phone with me at all times while walking on concrete or tile floors all day. My phone hit the floor so many times, you'd think I had a permanent case of dropsy. I never had to think twice about my phones safety with this two-part case. There is a plastic two piece frame which surrounds the phone, and a stiff rubber shell which snaps all around to give it a bumper. I added a safety glass screen cover and a stick-on lens cover. I have never cracked or chipped the safety glass cover (my wife and daughter have gone through MANY MORE) or had any damage to the body of the phone. The belt case for the phone worked great on my motorcycle. I removed the clip and screwed it to my handlebar mount and was able to have my phone with me everywhere I went. With gloves on, I dropped that phone many times, without so much as a scratch, thanks to this case.
