The media could not be loaded. These footballs have saved my life. I think I’ve bought close to 10 at this point? And toys primarily living outside in Texas heat is the only reason I’ve had to buy so many. In general, they are pretty durable but will get cracked if you leave them in the sun. I have a German Shepherd who absolutely loves playing in the backyard but also takes his responsibilities as a guard dog very seriously so he barks a LOT while he is out there and unfortunately we live in the suburbs so I’m constantly bringing him inside that way he isn’t bothering the neighbors. That is, until I got this football. The grunts are pretty quiet which is a win in my book because my dog communicates by way of squeak toy. You might think I’m joking but if I have guests over and we are having a conversation, he comes in the room and squeaks his toys violently to participate in the discussion. For that reason, it takes me an hour to pick out a new toy at the store because I stand in the aisle squeaking every single once until I find one I think I can handle listening to 24/7. If you’re reading this review, you probably know that at a certain point, the squeaks can become unbearable. If that’s why you’re looking at this toy, you don’t have to read any further. Just buy it, you won’t regret it. That is reason enough for me to rate this 5 stars. But the story doesn’t end there. What I did not foresee was him also using this wonderful grunting football to communicate with the neighbors. Now instead of barking outside, he grabs one of these footballs and squeaks it for all he’s worth while bucking around in circles like a bull. He still does it after having broken the noise maker in the toys. He just loves them so much. Can I guarantee your dog will also take to squeaking this toy over barking? No. I didn’t do anything special to get him to do that, and I doubt I could train another dog to do so. Regardless, this toy has single handedly solved a lot of my dogs endearing but somewhat annoying habits in ways I could not have anticipated so maybe it’ll work for you too. Read more

My Bull Terrier loves it. He usually manages to destroy toys but this one lasts. The oink noise is a nice change from squeakers. As my boy wears the internal noisemaker out it progresses to a seagull sound. Read more

we have bought this item several times, both from a store front and Amazon. Our German Shepherd absolutely loves them, one of the only toys he will play with. Only issue is the squeaker comes dislodged early on in his playing. However, he still loves to the ball. Read more

Amazon's lead into reviews states "Customers find the pet toy has a good quality and size for their dogs. They say it's a great chew toy and perfect for pitbulls." Our pit, a 12-year-old lovable goofball, ripped this apart and de-squeakered it the day he got it. He's a chewer, but not an extreme one. This is slightly bigger than a baseball so it would be difficult for small dogs to handle, but not sturdy enough for any large dog that chews. Read more

I purchased 2 Grunt Bunnies. 1st one lasted 5 min. with grunt sound. Toy was not chewed apart, the part that makes the grunt sound fell inside the toy due to the dog chewing on it. ( I thought thats what they're for. 2nd Grunt Bunny lasted about 1 week & the same thing happened. Seems that when the dog chews on the toy at the area of the sound device, it dislodges inside the toy. I thought the 1st one was a fluke, so I purchased a 2nd. Same result. Totally dissappointed with the product. Read more

After purchasing several of these balls, I felt I needed to write a review so that the amount of sales doesn’t make it appear as though this is a quality product!! My dogs absolutely love these balls, which is the only reason I keep ordering them. But, the grunting effect is “killed” quickly and easily and the seam that connects the “top” easily pulls apart. The balls end up ripped in two halves in less than a week. Sometimes less than three days. (We leave them outside so they play with them only when out there). They’re just far too easy to “disassemble” and tear apart. But, it’s fun watching the dogs’ joy in the first few seconds of getting a new one. Read more
