UPDATE: still a great toy, but after using it once daily, it completely fell apart in about 3 weeks. My puppy loves it and I’ll probably get another one, but I’m disappointed it fell apart so quickly. After purchasing ten or more other toys for our very energetic puppy—all of which had she paid almost no attention to , I found this one. Not only does she love getting the treats out, she also continues to play with it after they’re gone—even though I only do the treats once a day. The media could not be loaded. My pup is 13 and is unable to use her back legs, making some of the larger puzzle mats we already own frustrating for her to use. This is a perfect solution: it’s small, lightweight and easy to change the difficulty level with the size/amount of treats. She can easily pick it up and toss it or hold it with her paws. The fleece is soft yet sturdy; I pulled on part of the ruffle and it feels very secure. I also like that the folds hold her small dog food kibble securely, but is still easy to get out so she’s not crunching it into dust and leaving a spitty mess. It’s been about 25 minutes and she’s still having a great time with it. The only negative: the squeaker was broken when it arrived. My dog loves anything snuffle. She has several of these type of toys floating around the house and can usually be found sniffing through one looking for any treats she might've missed. This particular toy also squeaks and has a place to tug without ripping it apart, and those features make for some extra fun and adding to the durability. It doesn't bounce, but I don't think it needs to. It's also a good value for the money as it's a little cheaper than some other options. However, the folds are too shallow and even the smallest treats just fall right out taking away most of the fun and challenge for the ol' girl. We still play with it, but mostly as a normal toy since the snuffle part isn't fantastic. Wouldn't purchase again, but only because the treat hiding bit is our primary use. Very durable and constructed with quality materials and the felt used is thick and holds up well . The design of Snuffling pockets are all similar lacking variety and are somewhat large making treats found easily and quickly. However, the arms fold in and attach with velcro to provide an additional layer of challenge if needed. The large head with internal squeeker offer added toy value , although it is somewhat large for a smaller pup to drag around. I would give it 5 stars if it offered a variety of snuffle options.
