About this item

  • Dog puzzle toy they can't keep their paws off of: this dog enrichment toy combines the mental stimulation of a puzzle with the tasty rewards of their favorite treat
  • Made Safe; this dog toy is made of a plastic interior maze and an outer tinted Orbee-Tuff TPE shell; it is BPA, lead, and phthalate-free
  • Slow feeder for dogs; great for pups who gobble up their treats too fast, this toy is designed to make it easy to see and sniff out treats while dispensing them at a slower pace that's better for digestion. Note: the size of the treats or kibble determines the flow - smaller pieces release more at once and come out faster.
  • Easy to clean; to wash, just fill the puzzle ball with warm water and mild soap, shake, rinse out, and air dry
  • Play it safe; do not leave toys with unsupervised pets; remove and replace toy if damaged. This toy is intended for supervised fun and is not a chew toy or suitable for aggressive chewers.

Customers say

Customers find the puzzle toy creates hours of entertainment for their dogs. However, the durability receives negative feedback, with multiple customers reporting that the puzzle structure inside the ball completely breaks. Moreover, the size is problematic as the contraption and hole are too big, and it's not suitable for serious chewers. Additionally, the plastic material is criticized for being cheap, and while th

Doggo LOVES this!

Linda MortensonSeptember 28, 2024

My 40ish pound Schnoodle (named Noodle) absolutely LOVES this treat ball. And I love watching him with it! It's fun with mini-Milkbone treats, larger BarkBox treats, baby carrots, or even his whole meal of dry kibble (0.75-1 cup fits with plenty of room to keep it interesting). He also enjoys it when empty and it's one of the few toys he seems to actually keep track of - even remembering to go get it from outside. It barely fits in his mouth for picking up, so he had to (quickly) learn how to position it so that his teeth use the hole in the outer ball and/or make use of the internal structure to keep a grip. If he doesn't hold it just right, it'll slide off his teeth and out of his mouth. The intermittent reinforcement of dispensing keeps him interested and slows him down. He's learned that he can also bounce it by dropping it from the couch or even letting go while moving his head so he's lightly tossing it in the air. One of the BEST aspects is that even though he'll chew on it at times, the outside material shows no sign of puncturing or even wearing after 6 weeks. CON: the texture will pick up stray hair and such when covered with slobber, and then it stays stuck on the ball. Frequent rinsing of the outside of the ball is necessary. I will not take a star off, though, because it's worth it and I don't think a different material would provide all the other positives. Read more

Broken interior

TrishaNovember 16, 2025

I was very disappointed with this ball because after getting the treats out, my dog chewed on it and broke the hard plastic inside the ball. The broken pieces had sharp edges, and so did the pieces still inside. I do realize that the dogs need supervised play time, but I didn’t expect this to break and to break the first time we used it. This happened within an hour of his getting the treats out the second time we used it. Read more

Stimulating toy

mmApril 11, 2024

I got the maze ball for my dog because I thought the snoop would be too easy for him to just lick treats out of the hole. After a few times he's gotten the hang of it. To roll it with his nose and sniff around after its trail to find whats dropped out. All the sniffing is very beneficial and it keeps him interested for a while. Its not a toy I let him keep out. I only give it to him when I put treats and food into it. Because the outside is soft rubber im sure he would rip it easily. I also don't allow him to use his teeth on it. Only encourage rolling it with his nose. Great puzzle toy. Its cute to play with him, rolling it around. Even after its empty. Read more

Better for small pups

k.mooreNovember 5, 2025

So received this toy today. At first glance it's a really cute color and I thought it would give my 9 yr old, medium sized pup some enriching play for a while. When putting treats in it, the opening is quite large, probably a bit larger than it really needs to be because the treats very quickly fell out. Even when though I made sure they were at the bottom of the ball. I put maybe 5-7 quarter sized treats in it and my pup had them out in roughly 5 mins. I figured it was user error and should have put slightly larger treats in it. So I refilled it and put maybe silver dollar sized treats in it this time. Lasted slightly longer, about 10 mins. Only play was quickly halted when I heard a crack, the internal puzzle of the ball had easily snapped when she pushed a bit too hard with her muzzle trying to get it unstuck (she'd pushed it against and slightly under the couch). When I picked up a piece of the puzzle fell out of the large opening meant for the treats. Honestly this toy would probably be good for a small dog, but anything bigger than 10-15lbs, I would use cation with purchasing. Read more

Large Puzzle Ball not for smaller dogs

Wendy FOctober 10, 2025

This is a nice ball for the dogs. It's a large ball, not for smaller dogs. My english bulldog loves blue toys, however this ball is too large for him to pick up with his mouth. My golden retriever, is able to carry it around in his mouth. Read more

Internal plastic is cheap. External is snoop quality

—-September 16, 2022

I’d like to start off by saying I’ve fed dinner to my dog in the regular snoop for at least 5 months now without and issue. This item I’ve had for 5 hours, and the internal plastic cracked. With the snoop there is an easy way to pick it up and drop it down to help him work out the treats. He couldn’t get a grip on this so he was trying to hold the hole with his upper teeth and the plastic through the sides of it with his lower teeth JUST TO PICK IT UP. Not even chewing it. He was not left unsupervised with this toy. While the outer material isn’t fool proof, it’s fine when they’re able to use the toy appropriately and only when supervised. A reasonably durable soft plastic/silicone like texture. The plastic making up the “maze” of this is thin crap. Read more

Favorite Toy

Jessie skeltonJune 27, 2023

Our dog is 50 lbs, 1 and a half years old, an aggressive chewer, and she's so smart that a lot of toys don't work out for her because she can completely destroy it within minutes. We've gone through many toys and this one is great. I never worry about leaving this toy with her if I leave the room. We have this one and the Big Snoop. Both have been awesome and I couldn't be happier. My dog can get bored with a toy very easily and knowing that I can change the treats helps make it feel like a new toy all over again. It keeps her entertained forsure and for this price, I'm content. We have had this toy for 2 weeks at this point and it's in the same condition. We have had her Big Snoop (which is the same material) for a couple of months and it's still whole. She chews on this for an hour a day at least. Whether I put treats in it or not. She likes how squishy it is, but the curvature of it makes it harder to fully chew down on it. Because she can't, she tries harder and just stays so entertained! Read more
