I was actually pretty impressed with these shoes when they arrived. They seemed to be of very good quality, and I love the color! But when I tried them on, there were a clearly sized off by at least a half. I have always worn a 9.5 in men's and this was clearly only a 9 or so. Too small; width was good but too short in the length. I was so disappointed! The sole of these shoes is nice and flexible though, and the construction looked good; no glued areas or stitching that was poor, no flaws. The only comment I can make is that the inside shoe liner was not sewn or glued in and came out very easily. Upon inspection I found that it is really thin, so if these were going to be your everyday shoes you'd want to replace those first with something cushier to make them last. I go to a lot of networking events and needed some shoes that were more comfortable than dress shoes, but more formal than my Chucks. These fit the bill perfectly! I was concerned about the quality when they arrived smashed together in a bag, but they have proven themselves. I've worn these about a dozen times now, and they still look brand new even after being in light rain a few times. (I doubt they'd do well in a downpour though.) These are very lightweight shoes. Definitely the lightest I own, but they provide good arch support and the softness of the outsole helps with traction even though there isn't much traction on the soles. They give the appearance of suede, and I've gotten a few compliments on them already. If you just need something decent looking to walk around in comfortably, you can't go wrong here. According to the product title, these shoes are appropriate for a formal business wedding where you also have to do some walking and driving. I have not yet been invited to an event that requires all of these skills simultaneously, but if that day comes, my feet are prepared. This is the multi-tool of footwear. They are comfortable for a shoe that is also supposed to be formal. I walked in them. The walking was successful. I drove in them. The car moved as expected. They are competent in all their advertised skills. They look like shoes, they cover my feet, and they have laces, which is a feature I appreciate in a lace-up shoe. I like the color because blue is my favorite color, it matches my best friend's eyes. The Blue color of these shoes looks & feel great! The upper soles are light and conform easily to all the contours of your metatarsal (upper foot). I really like the lightness of the shoe ... the pair doesn't weigh much at all. Well worth the money. Read more
