This review is for the OYLUS brand ‘Space Heater For Indoor Use, 25” tall with 3D flame’. This heater is quite small compared to what I was hoping to replace with it to heat my home office (converted one car garage with no access to the house’s HVAC system), so I was a little skeptical. Turns out it works just fine, but it’s not quite up to the task. Perhaps a smaller room? This heater would be perfect for a small bedroom, for instance. It appears reasonably well made compared to similar heaters in the same price range and the controls work as expected, but the little ‘3D flame’ at the bottom is just comical. It’s quiet enough to not bother me, and the little noise it makes quickly fades into the background. It doesn't seem to cost as much to run as the old heater I was using, so it's more energy efficient, at least. Overall, I’m not particularly impressed with this heater, but I’m not disappointed either. It’s a solid little heater, but it just can’t handle the size of my home office. I’m more annoyed that the description claims it’s good for a large room. Four stars. Read more
