I’ve been using this dish soap for as long as I can remember, and it’s one of those products I never feel the need to replace. The original green formula cuts through grease and grime really well, even on pots and pans that have been sitting for a while. It lathers up quickly, rinses clean, and doesn’t leave a residue. A little goes a long way, so the 32.5 oz bottle lasts a while, making it a good value too. The classic scent is fresh and clean, nothing too strong, just that “kitchen’s clean” smell. It’s gentle enough on hands, even without gloves, and reliable for all kinds of everyday messes. I always keep a bottle under the sink, it just works. Read more

Great Dishwashing Liquid, Love the Smell...but packaging issue

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love the fresh scent of Original Palmolive. It does an excellent job of cutting grease and is economically priced. My only complaint is that one of the 2 Palmolive bottles was crunched on top and the plastic cap came off when I pulled off the sticky packaging tape wrapped around the bottle. I had to pierce a tiny hole near the crushed cap to get enough air for it to expand so I could snap the little plastic top over the opening. A little labor intensive but I got it to work. This same thing happened recently with the cap on a plastic jug of laundry detergent. This is happening at the factory because the Amazon box that contained this had no dents in it at all. The same thing when I ordered my laundry detergent. There was nothing wrong with the Amazon shipment box. This is something happening on the production line at the factory. It looks like too much pressure is being exerted when these type bottles are wrapped with the sticky packaging tape. Read more
