I'm a woman, I bought this primarily for trimming bikini area but also thought I could use on my legs if I didn't have time to hop in the shower and shave with an actual razor blade. I didn't have expectations that this would get anywhere near as close as a razor blade, but this thing barely removed any hair when I tested it on my legs. After 6-7 passes, I managed to reduce one narrow strip of hair on my leg to an uneven stubble around 2-4mm in length, and at that point my skin started to get irritated and I didn't want to keep passing over that spot. I used without any guard on my legs. I tried holding it in different ways and at different angles, I tried different amounts of pressure, and tried wet and dry. No improvement. I didn't want to even try it on my thicker bikini area hair if it can't even handle my legs! The blades honestly feel dull to my skin when I rub them on my finger. So sure, it may not cut you, but it also won't cut your hair. I thought about continuing to try it to see if it was user error despite my iterative efforts, just because of all the mystifying good reviews, but then I noticed the reviews that said their razors chipped after a couple uses and they don't make replacement heads anymore. I checked and that's correct- as of July 2022 there are no replacements in stock. So instead I am cleaning and thoroughly sanitizing it and returning it... and hoping they don't resell it as "new" to unsuspecting customers the same way they did to other people on here. I've been trimming for a long, long time, with a lot of different trimmers. No matter how careful I was, I always nicked myself eventually. And I haven't with this one. I don't fully understand it because it trims just as closely as any other trimmer I've tried. I don't know. Would have saved me a lot of pain if I had found this earlier. Oh and if you're suspicious of reviews like I am, I will say good for you, and that in this case I can't show any pictures to prove its efficacy because that's inappropriate. But I can say I'm a real guy and my favorite comedian is Norm MacDonald and I'm happy not to be gushing blood from my nether regions thanks to this trimmer right here. *UPDATE* One of the little teeth broke off. I've been using it every few days for 11 months, and maybe I set it down too hard since I use it without a guard. It still works, just takes an extra pass for that little missing strip. I like it enough that I'll probably still buy another one in a few months, but again it still totally works. Read more
