So far, very impressed! I became familiar with Pawfy products when we tried the calming one (our dog doesn't handle thunderstorms well). We hated medicating her with the heavier drugs from her vet. The calming Pawfy worked like magic for her! So, when we did research after observing increased licking of her paws, scratching and quite frankly, messy "goes" and she seemed to be forcing things. After only about 4 days of trying this Pawfy probiotic her "goes" looked much healthier and not so much a struggle for her. The itching and paw licking have also decreased! I have noticed that she isn't eating as much and will even leave her daily dental treat (that she loves) for an entire day. Mind you, she's a Staffy and is about 82 pounds, so shedding a few pounds isn't a bad thing! However, I am watching to ensure this doesn't impact her appetite in a negative way. So far, we're very pleased and she seems a lot happier! Buying a 2nd bottle since she needs 2 a day as a larger dog...but we're super pleased! Read more

Paw products I rarely write reviews, but this product truly deserves one. Our senior dog is quite selective about his food, yet he took to this immediately. I tend to be skeptical about natural products, often thinking they are a waste of money. However, our dog used to lick his paws constantly, which resulted in a sour smell permeating the house, his mouth, and his blankets. I’m not entirely sure how this product works, but it certainly did wonders for him. After about a week, the improvement was remarkable. The licking has decreased (I suspect the minimal continuation is just a matter of habit). He seems more at ease now, and the odor has vanished. I wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone. Give it a shot; it really worked! Read more

I purchased these probiotics because my little Cheweenie was licking her paws so much and smelled like corn chips. After researching and reading tons of reviews on this product and claims that it would curtail the paw licking and smell of corn chips, I decided to give it a try. My little dog has been taking 1 a day for the last 3 months and her paw licking has almost completely stopped and she no longer smells like corn chips. She loves the taste of these probiotic chews. One down side that I see is that there are a lot of little pieces in the container when you get it. The chews seems to crumble real easy and then you have nothing but grains of probiotic when you get to the end of the container. When I get to the end of the container, I simply pour the grains over her food and she eats it that way because I don’t want to waste any of it. These chews are not really chews, but compressed grains of chicken flavored probiotics. They are a little pricey, but they really do work. Happy Cheweenie dog. Read more

I cannot honestly say that this chew doesn’t work because there are so many positive reviews. It just didn’t work for my pup. It was these reviews that made me take a chance and try it on her. Before taking the chew, she was itching constantly on her belly and her elbows sometimes scratching to the point where she would draw blood. Constant headshaking, red paws, she was just miserable, so I gave these chews a chance. Big mistake. Within 2 days, everything got worse and she had broken out all over her body, with bumps, hotspots, and paws more swollen than before she took the chew. I immediately stopped after giving her only 2 chews in 2 days and had to go to the vet to get her system flushed out. I would say before trying this chew, make sure that you’re aware of the side effects. Yes, I was desperate and wanted some relief from her allergies and food sensitivities, but unfortunately, this chew was not it. Again, it may work well for your pup, but it did nothing for mine. Am Staffs have serious food sensitivity issues so treatment must be right for them for any kind of treatment to work. Do better than I did. Read more

HARD TO BREAK APART TO GIVE TO DOGS UNDER 20 POUNDS! (AND MESSY) . Company did not agree to make smaller ones. . (If they were smaller, the larger dogs could just be given more than one.) . Very disappointed that they didn't care about the many dogs we have under 20 pounds! Read more

Our rescue dog has been itchy for the entire 18 months we've had him. The effect of Cytopoint shots wears out in about 3 weeks so Pawfy seemed worth trying and it had an immediate effect. Check the dosage for your dog - ours is just under 60 pounds so the recommended dose is 2 per day. But 2 per day upsets his stomach and gives him diarrhea. 1/2 per day still controls the itch. My vet is all in this too when I checked with her. (And 1/2 per day is a whole lot more affordable!) Are they hard? Yes. My dog won't eat them as a stand alone "treat," but he has no issue when I crumble it on his food - so the hardness is actually a benefit for that. Read more
