The clock is exactly what you would expect. The digits are large and easy to see, even from across the room and setting the clock up was simple and intuitive. I particularly like that you can select the brightness of the display. If you have a specific brightness requirement, you can set it to be only that bright, or if you want it to change based upon the ambient light there is an "auto" setting that changes the brightness based upon how bright the room is. This "auto" feature works great. when the room is dark, the display dims so that the face is not overwhelming, but when the sun shines in it adjusts to a very bright display to make it visible in the bright room. It’s a well-designed little clock. The large digits take up almost the whole face so it is easily visible across the room. Using batteries means you don’t have to mess with extension cords. Finally, you can set the dimness so it is just visible in the daytime, but easily seen at night which extends the battery life. I am pleased with this purchase. Read more

This is a very nice battery digital alarm clock. I purchased it only for the clock feature and the numbers are very easy to read and keeps good time. I took down our tv room clock to put up sports posters, but we were lost without the clock. I didnt like opening my phone to check the time constantly, while I was used to seeing the time with one glance. With space being a problem, I needed a small clock, but yet large for us to see with dimming vision. Our digital clocks on tv equipment are so pale, we cant read them. I also didnt look forward to trying to fit it close to a wall outlet, and the jerking it off a shelf as the cord gets hit while moving things. I was happy to see this battery clock, that I can stick anywhere, no cord problem! The numbers are LARGE, while the numbers fill the screen, with no wasted space. I love the crispness of the green numbers, so easy to see, and find I prefer it to red. It also is a big help for my stroke hubby who has been having trouble reading a regular clock face. Read more
