I bought this as a gift for a friend, who specifically only wanted dog toys not made in China. Most dog toys available on Amazon are made in China, but I thought this one would be different because the brand is American and the manufacturer is listed as "American Dog Toys." Unfortunately, as soon as I received the item, I saw a clear "Made in China" label on it. This was disappointing. I would encourage the seller to make this clear in the product description. Read more

We got this fellow for our little Cairn Terrier who, like his owners, detests the Pittsburgh Penguins. It's well made and the texturing is nice, plus you can throw the thing very nicely. The sound it makes when squeaked sounds like something is dying, which, I imagine, is a big plus for a dog. My one gripe with this is that after continued usage, the seams on the back opened, exposing the black squeak ball inside. This is a wound sustained from a terrier puppy, not a larger dog, and so I fear that this toy won't hold up well for others. Still, the overall feel of the toy is good and my dog likes it. Read more
