Product Comments: As other reviewers have stated, this faucet is good looking and doesn't hold fingerprints, which is really helpful. It feels solid, has smooth operation of the valves, and a good solid aerated stream as well. The styling is neutral yet elegant, and for me it replaced a far more tacky faucet that the home came with. I think there are few settings where the style of the faucet will conflict with the surroundings. I really like the faucet! Installation Tips: This faucet is, as the manufacturer asserts, easy to install. If you're installing in a new sink, this will be a breeze. However, if you're replacing an existing faucet, the hardest part will likely be the uninstall of the old one. Who knows how that thing is attached to the sink? You'll figure it out. The install instructions advise that plumber's putty can interfere with the seal of the drain, so don't use it--easy enough. But what you may not realize is that if your existing faucet install used plumber's putty, you'll want to scrape off the remnants after uninstall of the old faucet, particularly around where the sink interfaces with the new drain. I installed two of these, and both of them initially leaked from the drain due to this issue. Notice I'm still giving 5 stars: not Pfister's fault that there was putty on my sink drain. You likely won't have leaks from the valves--the faucet solves that problem pretty well. You can experience leaks from the drain due to putty as mentioned above, or from a less tight install of the drain. When reassembling the p-trap and drain, start from the top. Tighten the Pfister pop drain assembly onto your sink drain by hand, but get it as tight as you comfortably can. Next, proceed downward and tighten each seal of the plastic p-trap assembly (this is part of your original drain assembly, and carries the drainwater from your sink to your sewage system). After tightening the first seal below the drain assembly, move on to the next in the line and keep going until you've tightened all of them on the way to the wall. Walla: no leaks! Read more

One year later, faucet is still going strong, finish is like new, as if it is straight from the box. Easy insulation, all metal construction, I expect to have this for many years to come. Makes for a clean looking vanity. Have always had good luck with Pfister products, and have the confidence of a great warranty. Form, fit, function, Pfister- would buy again. Read more

Honestly we were a little slow when it came to ordering everything for our remodel and then we needed these ASAP since the plumber was coming to install. I was interested in the pfister contempra for both the shower and the sink but it would not be delivered on time through build.com and wasn't able to find it on amazon, but then I found these, which are very very very similar and half the price, so I went with it. I guess I cannot say how it compares to the contempra but these are super sturdy high quality and look great. Plumber installed it so I cannot speak to how easy it is but It does look great, no leaks, nice design. I guess it doesn't stick that far out into the sink so there is a little more splatter on the counter behind the sink than there might be otherwise, but that's basically the only downside i can see. Otherwise I think this looks great and is very sturdy for the price. I would recommend it and buy again if we had another bathroom to remodel. Read more

I did a semi-remodel in both of my bathrooms. Gold has come back in vogue. This looks great with my gold lights, mirrors, towel hooks, TP holder, and cabinet knobs (all gold). Performance is great so far. Contractor family member said to buy this one. Read more

These faucets are nice looking and were a less expensive substitute for the Pfister Contempra faucets I bought a year ago. They look nice in the powder room on our new pedestal lavatory. Installation is a breeze compared to how widespread faucets had to be installed years ago per my master plumber husband. The instructions were accurate with pictures and written explanations for anyone who is handy to install these. The push type pop up drain also makes installation much easier than a standard pop up drain with extra hard to line up parts and a stopper that catches hair due to the way it connects. The stems are brass with ceramic cartridges and have a nice feel to them. Overall, a quality faucet for the price. Time will tell if the easy, quick connect features stand the test of time. Read more

Bought 3 black matte faucets, one of them came packaged with a totally different faucet than the other 2. It was also missing the sink pop-up drain. The packaging was labeled and pacakaged exactly the same. I suspect someone returned a inferior product and kept the Pfister product. Other than the hassle of returning the item, the real Pfister faucets was beautiful and fuctioned perfectly Read more
