So tired of cat litter everywhere! My daughter keeps her cat box in her bathroom and the cats tracked litter all over the floor and into her bedroom (carpet). So we got these to see if they actually help or not. Well they do help a lot!! Decided to get two, as one just didn't seem like enough to cover how far the cats track litter getting out of the box and then the first few feet after that. We put one under the cat box so that when they come out of it they step on it then the other one next to that to further help litter fall of their feet. This has reduced the tracking of litter by 95% which is huge! Easy to use. Just lay them down and relax. I pick them up and dump what's inside into the trash, as I figure it's dirty litter anyhow, and them lay them back down. Easy enough to rinse out in the bath tub, if needed (after you remove the litter, don't want that down your drain). They do come folded and it takes some time to lay flat, but they will eventually flatten out, so don't fuss over that. The cats were never bothered by them at all and don't claw them or mess with them. For us, these are awesome! My other daughter saw how these are working for us and she now will be ordering two for her house as well. Read more

This is my first experience with a silicone mat. Initially I liked the mat, although it was flimsier than I expected. What made me decide to never go with silicone again was when I went to clean it. Some of the litter crystals embedded themselves into the mat and I couldn't get them out. That being said the litter does stay on the mat and I haven't had issues with the cats tracking it to the surrounding areas. Read more
Love this mat. I have two cats, and one of them is the type that likes to leap out of the litter box when he is finished, effectively spraying litter everywhere. I bought a covered litter box to control where he leaps out of the box, and I placed a mat at the entrance to the box. I tried so many other mats before this, but this mat definitely takes the cake. When I used the Tidy Cats lightweight litter, it cut down on about 95% of the litter that they tracked out. Whatever they did track out, got caught in the holes on this and filtered down to the compartment in the mat. You can pick up the mat and dump the litter back into the box easily. My other cat is an obsessive digger and she scratches a lot when she goes, so I'm very please that this mat has been able to take her claws like a champ. Not a single scratch. I also made the switch to the feline pine litter pellets, and aside from the stray pellet that gets kicked out, I have zero litter tracking at all. This mat catches all of it. It's simple to clean. I wash it in a laundry sink with a scrub brush and mild soap (sponge doesn't get into the holes that well) and then lay it out to air dry. I've had my mat for over a year now, and it still doesn't fully lay flat (it was folded when it was shipped to me), but it's mostly flat by now. That's my only complaint. Read more
