I take this charger with me EVERYWHERE. It's just perfect for on the go and quick charging. My phone was at 15% one time and it was on the charger for less than 30 minutes and got up to 90%!! I'm amazed. The durability is pretty great too; I've taken this charger so many places and it never fails to support my phone! I also appreciate that it has a port for you to use USB-A cords as well which is extra useful. The cord isn't extra long, but it works well so I ignore that...!! I tested this on my laptop and a Samsung phone to ensure that it "does what it says it does". Verdict? Yes, indeed: * 30W to the laptop -or- * 17W to the phone when using the USB C port (Super Fast charging) -or- * 14.5 W to the phone when using the USB A port (fast charging) Using both ports at the same time causes the charger to switch to Fast charge on the USB C port and "normal" speeds on the USB A port when using both ports. 30 W is just not enough to maintain the high rates on both ports. However, for the size, it is a charger that will be quite handy. The attached pictures show the size compared to my Anker chargers, the weight, and measurement of the wattage. —————————— How my star ratings work: * - Negative experience. Poor quality, serious design flaws, and doesn’t accomplish the stated description/goals. Not recommended. ** - Low quality and design flaws limit usefulness. Quality charger and cable from what I can see.

Nice set. The charger is small, has USB-A & USB-C ports, and the prongs retract. Given my current setup of both old and new devices & cables, this really is the ideal setup for me. I can’t even imagine how many years before I’ll need USB-C only cables, and by the time that occurs, there will be another standard replacing USB-C. (Not sure why the EU mandated USB-C only…as if there won’t be a better standard at some point…) But I digress. Cable feels good, connectors have integrated strain relief. The lightning end has a satisfying click into my older iphone, although the USB-C side isn’t quite as satisfying when plugged into my newer iPad. Not bad, just not perfect. Also, when out of the box, the cable had memory and was a bent-up mess as you can see in a photo, but it quickly straightened out after ~30 minutes in the sun. +++ NOTE: charger is really shiny...so shiny that I thought it was wrapped in that clear plastic you sometimes get on these things. I spent a couple minutes trying to remove the clear plastic only to realize there wasn't any. It is just really really shiny. PROS: seems well made CONS: aforementioned USB-C insertion vagueness on cable ACCURACY OF AMAZON LISTING: high BOTTOM LINE: small and powerful adapter with a quality cable. Would order again.
