Great support and comfort
I Like this Boot, great comfort and support. I have problem feet and usually have a difficult time finding a shoe with all day comfort. They lace up easily also. Read more

The other brands are cheap for a reason
I go through a pair of these every five or ten years. That's not because I keep them in the closet; I wear them at least one day a week, banging around in the outdoors, not strolling on the sidewalk. They are practically indestructible. Mephisto deserves its sterling reputation. They will rebuild all their shoes, although the kind of wear to an outdoor boot endures to goes is probably beyond what can be repaired. Note: these are NOT heavy duty backpacking/mountaineering boots. They are more like as an upscale SUV, not a raised suspension Jeep 4WD fitted out with giant wheels, a winch and a snorkel air intake. Fabulous boot
I now have a pair of these in both brown and black. I have bad knees and am very comfortable in these boots. They also tend to not be slick on ice and snow. I love this brand. Somewhat expensive but you get what you pay for. Read more
